Übersicht 
Das Eis in der Bottenvik treibt langsam 
nordwestwärts, sonst haben sich die Eisverhältnisse 
im nördlichen Ostseeraum seit gestern nicht 
wesentlich geändert. 
Skagerrak und Kattegat 
Schwedische Küste: Vänersee: An der Nordküste 
'ritt zwischen Karlstad und Kristinehamn dünnes 
dichtes Eis auf. 
Rigaischer Meerbusen 
Estnische Küste: In der Pärnu Bucht liegt im 
Nordteil nah an der Küste bis zu 20 cm dickes 
Testeis. 
Overview 
The ice in the Bay of Bothnia is slowly drifting 
northwestwards, else ice conditions in the northern 
region of the Baltic Sea have not changed very 
much since yesterday. 
Skagerrak and Kattegat 
Sweden: Lake Vänern: On the northern coast 
between Karlstad and Kristinehamn there is thin 
close ice. 
Gulf of Riga 
Estonian Coast: In the Pärnu Bay there is up to 20 
cm thick fast ice In the northern coastal zone. 
Finnischer Meerbusen 
Finnische Küste: In den östlichen inneren Schären 
dünnes Eis. Russische Küste: In den Häfen von St. 
Zetersburg liegt örtlich 10-15 cm dickes Eis. Weiter 
nestwärts bis zur Ostspitze von Kotlin tritt im 
-ahrwasser sehr dichtes 10-20 cm dickes, teilweise 
übereinandergeschobenes und hügelig aufgepress- 
es Eis auf. Anschließend treibt bis zur Länge der 
Westspitze von Kotlin sehr lockeres Eis. - Im 
Berkezund kompaktes 5-10 cm dickes Eis. - In der 
Vyborgbucht liegt 12-20 cm dickes Festeis. die 
Einfahrt ist eisfrei. 
Gulf of Finland 
Finnish Coast: In the eastern inner archipelagos 
ihere is thin ice. Russian Coast: In the harbours of 
St. Petersburg there is 10-15 cm thick ice, in places. 
Farther out on the fairway up to the eastern point of 
Kotlin there is 10-20 cm thick very close, partly 
ıummocked and rafted ice. Farther westwards up to 
the longitude of the western point of Kotlin very open 
ce is drifting. - In Berkezund there is 5-10 cm thick 
compact ice. - The Vyborg Bay is covered by 12-20 
cm thick fast ice. the entrance is ice free. 
Bottensee 
Finnische Küste: In den inneren Schären kommt 
örtlich dünnes Eis vor. Schwedische Küste: Der 
nördliche Ängermanälv ist mit 10-20 cm dickem 
Festeis bedeckt. In den inneren Schären nördlich 
von Hudiksvall kommt dünnes Eis oder Neueis vor.

thin ice in places. Swedish Coast: The northern 
Angermanälv is covered with 10-20 cm thick fast 
ice. In the inner archipelago north of Hudiksvall 
there is thin ice or new ice.
