Z. PROMOTION AND DEMONSTRATIONS

conferences, workshops, articles, European projects, 
posters, social media and/or training courses. 
In 5 years, about 30 events organised by Copernicus Marine 
have highlighted the User Uptake programme and 
presented all developed services (or a particular service 
when linked to a particular event by targeted activities or a 
geographic region). Promotional activities were also 
carried out by contractors in more than 100 national or 
international conferences or workshops. 
When the services are developed and operational, 
Zopernicus Marine makes them visible on its portal in the 
jedicated «Use Case demos» section, thus highlighting the 
Jsefulness of Copernicus Marine information (Abadie et al.. 
this issue). 
The User Uptake concrete examples have been promoted 
and disseminated by the contractors, by Copernicus Marine
