to add new variables such as phytoplankton
functional types, total primary production or vertical
profiles of carbonate chemistry (alkalinity, pH, DIC),
and to provide derived quantities such as Ocean Heat
Content (ECV),
to provide uncertainties estimate for all variables
for both direct use, validation purposes, and data
assimilation,
to propose new products (physical and biogeochemical)
at regional scale (e.g., Mediterranean Sea, Atlantic
Ocean), requiring to first gather dedicated regiona
upstream observations and observation products anc
then develop specific configurations at regional scale
