messen berücksichtigt werden können. 
Daneben bieten wir wie immer einen Ein 
blick in die Vielfalt der Anforderungen und 
Aufgaben in unserer Behörde. 
So informieren wir über Neues von un 
seren Dienstleistungen, den Daten und 
Informationen, die wir unseren Kunden 
und Partnern in der Seeschifffahrt, in der 
maritimen Wirtschaft, der Wissenschaft, im 
Küstenschutz und der allgemeinen Öffent 
lichkeit zuverlässig und aktuell zur Verfü 
gung stellen sowie über die Entwicklungen 
im Offshore-Bereich oder bei unseren 
Forschungs- und Monitoringaufgaben. 
Mein Dank gebührt allen, die mit ihrer 
Arbeit dazu beigetragen haben, dass wir 
auch über unser Jahr 2012 wieder Span 
nendes und Interessantes zu berichten 
haben.

able and up-to-date data and information 
provision to our customers and partners in 
the fields of maritime navigation, maritime 
industry, science, coastal defence and to 
the general public, as well as regarding 
developments in the offshore area and in 
our research and monitoring duties. 
My thanks go to all those who with their 
work have made sure that we once again 
have plenty of exciting and interesting 
news to report also with respect to the year 
2012.
