Aus der Vielzahl der Aufgaben im vergan 
genen Berichtsjahr soll daher für unseren 
Bericht 2012 das Thema „Sicherheit in der 
Seeschifffahrt“ besonders herausgestellt 
werden. Dies ist nicht möglich ohne „den 
Menschen an Bord“. Deshalb beginnt 
Sicherheit mit einer guten Ausbildung.

In our 2012 report, choosing from the 
multitude of tasks in the past report year, 
we therefore decided to place special em 
phasis on the topic of “Safety of maritime 
navigation”. This is not possible without the

safety begins with excellent training.

Damit der Nautiker seine Aufgaben auf der 
Brücke bestmöglich erfüllen kann, muss 
der Informationsfluss an die menschlichen 
Fähigkeiten und Fertigkeiten angepasst 
werden. Neue Systeme werden die Ver 
antwortlichen auf der Brücke dabei unter 
stützen, mit der Vielzahl an Informationen 
zunehmend leichter umgehen zu können. 
Zur Sicherheit trägt auch die maritime 
Raumordnung bei: Sie ordnet die Meeres 
flächen so, dass eine effiziente und sichere
