On the DENEB vessel of BSH, the array was installed above the control deck as shown in Figure
3-13. The orientation of the array was set so that the zero-azimuth axis (i.e. the reference axis) of
the antenna array points toward the bow (the front part) of the ship (see Figure 3-13b).

3.4 Results of RFI detection and characterisation
The raw recording with the IF digital samples were collected over the entire duration of the
measurement campaign, le. in the period from 13-May-21 till 11-Nov-21. The identification of
ndividual RFl-events was based on the power-increase metric as described in subsection 3.2. The
analysis of the interference effect was then performed on the strongest RFl-events. The results of
such analysis have been reported in the dedicated reports of this measurement campaign [10, 11]
An example of the analysis results is given here for one strong RFl-event occurred on June 26, 2021
at 11:30 local time (MET).
3.1.1. Example of pre-correlation analysis
The increase of the received power on the central array element over the entire month is shown in
Figure 3-14. The analysed strong RFl-event is marked.
