Finnischer Meerbusen 
Estnische Küste: In den Buchten von Narva, 
Kunda und Muuga kommt in der Küstennähe 
ockeres bis sehr lockeres dünnes Treibeis vor. - 
Finnische Küste: In den inneren Schären liegt 
dünnes Festeis, anschließend kommt auf 3-15 sm 
dünnes ebenes Eis, Neueis and Eisbildung vor. 
Saimaasee: Im Nordteil liegt 20-25 cm dickes, im 
nittleren und südlichen Teil sowie im Kanal 15- 
20 cm dickes Eis. - Russische Küste: In den Häfen 
von St. Petersburg liegt Festeis. Weiter westwärts 
kommt im Fahrwasser bis zur Länge von Kotlin 15- 
30 cm dickes Festeis, dann bis zur Länge vom Kap 
Jstinskij sehr dichtes 15-20 cm dickes Eis und bis 
Seskar sehr lockeres Eis vor. - Die innere 
Vyborgbucht ist mit 20-30 cm dickem Festeis 
Dedeckt. Außerhalb davon liegt zwischen den 
3reiten der Insel Igrivy] und der Insel Zapadny) 
3erezovyj sehr dichtes 10-20 cm dickes Eis. - Im 
Berkezund liegt 12-22 cm dickes Festeis und in der 
Einfahrt 15-20 cm dickes sehr dichtes Eis. - An den 
Küsten der Copora- und Luga Bucht liegt 10-15 cm 
dickes Festeis, in den Einfahrten treibt sehr lockeres 
Eis. 
Schärenmeer 
In den inneren Schären liegt 5-30 cm dickes Festeis, 
anschließend Neueis. 
Bottensee 
Finnische Küste: In den inneren Schären liegt 
dünnes Festeis, weiter außerhalb kommt auf 15-20 
sm sehr dichtes dünnes Eis und Neueis vor. - 
Schwedische Küste: In den nördlichen Schären 
iegt 10-20 cm dickes Festeis. Auf See kommt 
1ördlich von Ängermanälv auf 10 sm lockeres 
dünnes Eis, Neueis und Eisbrei vor. Weiter südwärts 
tritt bis zur Gävle Bucht in geschützten Buchten 
dünnes Festeis auf. In der Gävlebucht liegt 
zusammengeschobenes 5-15 cm dickes 
Trümmereis. Der Ängermanälv ist mit 15-25 cm 
dickem Festeis bedeckt. 
Norra Kvarken 
Auf See kommt Neueis und sehr dichtes dünnes Eis 
vor. 
Finnische Küste: In den inneren Schären liegt 
zwischen Vaasa und Ensten 5-25 cm dickes Festeis, 
außerhalb davon kommt bis westlich von Norrskär 
ebenes Eis, Neueis und dünnes sehr dichtes 
Treibeis vor. - Schwedische Küste: Bedeckt mit 
dünnem ebenen Eis oder Neueis. 
Bottenvik 
Finnische Küste: Die nördlichen inneren Schären 
sind mit 20-35 cm dickem Festeis, die südlichen 
Schären mit 10-30 cm dickem ebenen Eis bedeckt. 
Außerhalb Oulu kommt bis Oulu 3 10-20 cm dickes 
ebenes Eis vor. Sonst liegt bis zur Eisgrenze auf der 
_inie Breite Nahkiainen — 20 sm westlich von 
UJUlkokalla — 10 sm westlich von Kallan sehr dichtes 
Gulf of Finland 
Estonian Coast: In the bays of Narva, Kunda and 
Muuga there is open to very open thin ice near the 
coasts. - Finnish Coast: In the inner archipelagos 
‘here is thin fast ice. Off the fast ice there is for 3- 
15 nm thin level ice, new ice and ice formation. 
Lake Saimaa: In the northern part there is 20- 
25 cm, in the middle and southern part as well as in 
Canal 15-20 cm thick ice. - Russian Coast: In the 
harbours of St. Petersburg there is fast ice. Farther 
westwards on the fairway 15-30 cm thick fast ice 
Dccurs to the longitude of Kotlin, followed by 15- 
20 cm thick very close ice up to the longitude of 
Cape Ustinskij and very open ice up to Seskar. - The 
inner Vyborg Bay is covered with 20-30 cm thick fast 
ice. Farther out there is 10-20 cm thick very close ice 
between the latitudes of island Igrivy] and island 
Zapadnyj Berezovy]. - In Berkezund there is 12- 
22 cm thick fast ice, in the entrance there is 15- 
20 cm thick very close ice. - Along the coasts of the 
Copora Bay and the Luga Bay there is 10-15 cm 
ihick fast ice, in the entrance to bays very open ice 
is drifting. 
Archipelago Sea 
In the inner archipelagos there is 5-30 cm thick fast 
ice, farther off new ice. 
Sea of Bothnia 
Finnish Coast: In the inner archipelagos there is 
‘hin fast ice, farther out there is for about 15-20 nm 
very close thin ice and new ice. - Swedish Coast: 
n the northern archipelagos there is 10-20 cm thick 
‘ast ice. At sea there is north of Ängermanälv for 10 
nm open thin ice, new ice and shuga. Farther 
southwards till Gävle Bight there is thin fast ice in 
sheltered bays. In the Gävie Bight compact 5-15 
cm thick brash ice occurs. The Angermanälv is 
covered with 15-25 thick fast ice. 
Norra Kvarken 
At sea new ice and very close thin ice occurs. 
Finnish Coast: In the inner archipelago there is 5- 
25 cm thick fast ice between Vaasa and Ensten, 
farther out there is to the west of Norrskär level ice, 
new ice and very close thin drift ice. - Swedish 
Coast: Covered with thin level ice or new ice. 
Bay of Bothnia 
Finnish Coast: The northern inner archipelagos 
are covered with 20-35 cm thick fast ice, the 
southern archipelagos with 10-30 cm thick level 
ice. Off Qulu there is to Oulu 3 10-20 cm thick level 
ice. Otherwise, very close 5-20 cm thick ice and 
new ice occurs up to the ice edge along the line 
latitude of Nahkiainen — 20 nm west of Ulkokalla —
