Voraussichtliche Eisentwicklung
Jer nördliche Ostseeraum liegt im Einflussbereich
eines Hochdruckgebietes über Nordrussland. Im
nördlichen Bottnischen Meerbusen werden
schwache bis mäßige Winde aus östlichen
Richtungen vorherrschen. In der Bottenvik wird das
Eis auf See westwärts treiben, sich dabei auflockern
und weiter abnehmen. Bei deutlich ansteigenden
Lufttemperaturen wird es zunehmend morsch.
Expected Ice Development
The weather in the northern region of the Baltic
Sea is influenced by a high pressure area over the
northern Russia. In the northern Gulf of Bothnia
weak to moderate winds from easterly directions
will dominate, In the Bay of Bothnia the ice at sea
will drift towards the west, will loose and decrease
thereby. Due to significant increase of the air
temperatures, it will become increasingly rotten.
Der nächste Eisbericht wird am Freitag, den
14.5.2010, erscheinen.
Next ice report will be issued on Friday, 14” May
2010.
