Information of the Icebreaker Services 
Finland 
Vessels bound for ports in the Gulf of Bothnia shall report to ICE INFO on VHF Channel 84 when passing the 
Svenska Björn lighthouse. 
Icebreaker: OTSO and SISU assist in the northern Bay of Bothnia, URHO works in the southern part. 
KUMMELI assists in the northern Lake Saimaa. 
Russia 
The icebreaker campaign is closed from today April, 30" for all Russian ports. 
Sweden 
Vessels not suitable for winter navigation, river vessels and tugs with barge can not expect governmental 
cebreaker assistance. 
Vessels bound for ports subject to traffic restrictions in Gulf of Bothnia shall, when passing Svenska Björn 
(59° 33’N 20° 01’E), report to ICEINFO on VHF channel 84. 
Arrival report is to be made to ICEINFO, on VHF channel 16, when the ship is well moored, including ship’s 
ı1ame, ETD and next port of destination. 
Jeparture report is to be made to ICEINFO, on VHF channel 16, at least 6 hours before departure. 
Icebreaker: YMER assists in the northern and ALE in the southern Bay of Bothnia. FREJ assists in the 
Quark.
