Übersicht 
Im NE-Teil der Bottenvik kommt es im Eisfeld zu 
Eispressungen. 
Rigaischer Meerbusen 
Bis auf morsche Eisreste im Seebereich zwischen 
Kihnu und Ruhnu eisfrei. 
Overview 
In the northeastern part of the Bay of Bothnia ice 
pressure occurs in the ice field. 
Gulf of Riga 
Except for rotten ice remnants at sea area between 
Kihnu and Ruhnu, ice-free. 
Gulf of Finland 
Finnish Coast: Off Hamina open water, else ice- 
'ree. Lake Saimaa: In the northern and central part 
10-35 cm thick rotten ice. - Russian Coast: On the 
fairway between 28°15’ E and 28°30’' E there is 
close to very close 10-25 cm thick ice. The ice 
edge runs along about the line eastern point of 
island Bol'Soj Berozovyj — point 3 nm north of 
Seskar — point 8 nm east of lighthouse Nerva — 
lighthouse Rondo — peninsula Kiperort. - The 
Vyborg Bay is ice-free, in the entrance very close ice 
occurs close to Kiperort. - In Berkezund there is 
open water. 
Archipelago Sea 
Very open, 10-35 cm thick, rotten ice occurs 
southeast and southwest of Isokari, else there is 
open water. 
Sea of Äland 
At sea there is open water. 
Sea of Bothnia 
Finnish Coast: In the archipelago there is rotten 
ice in places. Farther out there is open water, but 
between Rauma and Uusikaupunki very open 10- 
Finnischer Meerbusen 
Finnische Küste: Außerhalb Hamina offenes 
Nasser, sonst eisfrei. Saimaasee: Im N-lichen und 
zentralen Teil 10-35 cm dickes morsches Eis. - 
Russische Küste: Im Fahrwasser liegt zwischen 
28°15‘ E und 28°30‘ E dichtes bis sehr dichtes 10- 
25 cm dickes Eis. Die Eisgrenze verläuft entlang 
etwa der Linie E-Spitze der Insel Bol'Soj Berozovyj — 
Punkt 3 sm N-lich von Seskar — Punkt 8 sm E-lich 
vom Leuchtturm Nerva — Leuchtturm Rondo — 
Äalbinsel Kiperort. - Die Vyborgbucht ist eisfrei, in 
der Einfahrt tritt bei Kiperort sehr dichtes Eis auf. - 
Im Berkezund kommt offenes Wasser vor. 
Schärenmeer 
SE- und SW-lich von Isokari kommt sehr lockeres, 
10-35 cm dickes, morsches Eis vor, sonst offenes 
Wasser. 
Älandsee 
Auf See kommt offenes Wasser vor. 
Bottensee 
Finnische Küste: In den Schären liegt stellenweise 
morsches Eis. Außerhalb davon offenes Wasser, 
aber zwischen Rauma und Uusikaupunki tritt sehr
