Übersicht 
Das Eis in der Bottenvik trieb in E-liche Richtungen, 
die Rinne außerhalb der schwedischen Küste hat 
sich verbreitet. 
Rigaischer Meerbusen 
Eisfrei. 
Overview 
The ice in the Bay of Bothnia has drifted 
eastwards, the lead off the Swedish coast has 
become wider. 
Gulf of Riga 
Ice-free. 
Finnischer Meerbusen 
Finnische Küste: Außerhalb Hamina offenes 
Nasser, sonst eisfrei. Saimaasee: Im N-lichen und 
zentralen Teil 10-35 cm dickes morsches Eis. - 
Russische Küste: Im Fahrwasser treibt zwischen 
28°30‘ E und 29° E sehr lockeres Eis. Weiter W-lich 
'iegt bis zur Länge von Insel Malyj sehr dichtes 10- 
25 cm dickes Eis. Die Eisgrenze verläuft entlang 
etwa der Linie Kap Stirsudden — Punkt 2 sm N-lich 
von Seskar — Punkt 4 sm E-lich vom Leuchtturm 
\erva — Leuchtturm Rondo — Insel Vichrevoy. - Die 
Vyborgbucht ist eisfrei, in der Einfahrt treibt örtlich 
sehr lockeres Eis. - Im Berkezund und in der 
Einfahrt kommt sehr lockeres Eis vor. 
Schärenmeer 
S-lich von Isokari kommt 10-35 cm dickes, morsches 
Eis vor, sonst offenes Wasser. 
Älandsee 
V-lich von Äland liegt sehr dichtes morsches Eis mit 
Resten von alten Presseisrücken. Auf See treiben 
.m N-Teil einzelne Eisschollen, sonst kommt offenes 
Wasser vor 
Gulf of Finland 
Finnish Coast: Off Hamina open water, else ice- 
'ree. Lake Saimaa: In the northern and central part 
‚0-35 cm thick rotten ice. - Russian Coast: Very 
open ice is drifting on the fairway between 28°30’ E 
and 29° E. Farther westwards there is very close 
10-25 cm thick ice up to the longitude of island 
Malyj. The ice edge runs along about the line Cape 
Stirsudden — point 2 nm north of Seskar — point 4 
nm east of lighthouse Nerva —- lighthouse Rondo — 
island Vichrevoy. - The Vyborg Bay is ice-free, in the 
entrance very open ice is drifting, in places. - In the 
Berkezund and in the entrance very open ice 
OCccurs. 
Archipelago Sea 
10-35 cm thick rotten ice occurs south of Isokari, 
else there is open water. 
Sea of Äland 
North of Äland there is very close rotten ice with 
remnants of old ridges. At sea, single ice floes are 
drifting in the northern part, else open water 
Dccurs.
