Übersicht 
Das Eis in der Bottenvik treibt südwestwärts. 
Overview 
The ice in the Bay of Bothnia is drifting SW-wards. 
- Die Schifffahrtsbeschränkungen für die finnischen 
Ädäfen Tornio, Kemi, Oulu, Raahe und Kaskinen 
wurden von heute an herabgesetzt, für die Häfen 
_oviisa, Kotka und Hamina wurden sie aufgehoben. 
Für den russischen Hafen St. Petersburg werden sie 
mit Wirkung vom 26. April aufgehoben. 
- From today, restrictions to navigation for the 
Finnish harbours Tornio, Kemi, Oulu, Raahe and 
Kaskinen have been alleviated, they have been 
cancelled for the harbours Loviisa, Kotka and 
Hamina. Restrictions to navigation for the port of 
St. Petersburg will be cancelled from April, 26. 
Rigaischer Meerbusen 
Estnische Küste: Zwischen Inseln Kihnu und 
Ruhnu tritt dichtes bis sehr lockeres, 10-25 cm 
dickes, morsches Eis auf. - Lettische Küste: Im 
Fahrwasser Mersrags — Irbenstraße kommt offenes 
Wasser vor. 
Gulf of Riga 
Estonian Coast: Between the islands Kihnu and 
Ruhnu there is close to very open, 10-25 cm thick, 
rotten ice. - Latvian Coast: On the fairway 
Mersrags - Irben Strait there is open water. 
Finnischer Meerbusen 
Finnische Küste: Außerhalb Hamina kommt 20- 
50 cm dickes morsches Eis, anschließend offenes 
Wasser vor. Saimaasee: 10-40 cm dickes, teilweise 
nNorsches Eis. - Russische Küste: Im Fahrwasser 
von Tolbuchin bis zur Länge vom Kap Ustinskij treibt 
ockeres Eis, anschließend liegt bis zur Länge des 
_euchtturms Sommers sehr dichtes 20-30 cm dickes 
Eis, dann kommt offenes Wasser vor. Die Eisgrenze 
verläuft entlang etwa der Linie Kotlin — Seskar — 
Punkt 7 sm S-lich von MoSEnyj —- Punkt 10 sm W-lich 
vom Leuchttum Sommers — Kotka. - In der 
Vyborgbucht kommt im Fahrwasser bis zur Breite 
von Halbinsel Kiperort lockeres Eis vor. Außerhalb 
davon liegt bis zur Breite von Sommers sehr dichtes 
20-30 cm dickes Eis. dann treibt bis zur Eisgrenze 
Gulf of Finland 
Finnish Coast: Off Hamina there is 20-50 cm thick 
‚otten ice, farther out open water occurs. Lake 
Saimaa: 10-40 cm thick, partly rotten ice. - Russian 
Coast: On the fairway from Tolbuchin to the 
‚ongitude of Cape Ustinskij there is open ice, then up 
to the longitude of lighthouse Sommers very close 
20-30 cm thick ice, finely open water occurs. The 
ice edge runs along about the line Kotlin — Seskar — 
D0int 7 nm south of MoSEnyj — point 10 nm west of 
ighthouse Sommers — Kotka. - In the Vyborg Bay 
there is on the fairway up to the latitude of peninsula 
Kiperort open ice. Farther out very close 20-30 cm 
ihick ice occurs up to the latitude of Sommers and 
very open ice up to the ice edge. - In the Berkezund 
there is open water, in the entrance very close 20-
