Estonia 
icebreaker: EVA-316 is assisting to Pärnu Bay and in the Gulf of Riga, no service for tugs and barges. 
Finland 
The Saimaa Canal is open for navigation. 
From 1* of March only vessels in ice class IA and more than 4000 tons in deadweight, which have per port (for 
he ports Tornio, Kemi, Oulu. Raahe, Kokkola and Pietarsaari) at least 2000 tons to load or unload or both 
‘ogether. 
Vessels bound for ports in the Gulf of Bothnia shall report to ICE INFO on VHF Channel 84 when passing the 
Svenska Björn lighthouse. 
icebreaker: KONTIO, SISU and OTSO assist in the northern Bay of Bothnia, URHO works in the southern 
Bay of Bothnia. VOIMA assists in the Sea of Bothnia. NORDICA is stand-by for assistance in Helsinki. 
PROTECTOR and LETTO assist in Lake Saimaa. 
Latvia 
Sall on VHF channel 16 or 13 for icebreaker VARMA, or mobile phone +37129341982 or +37129272477. 
Icebreaker: If necessary VARMA is ready to assists in the Gulf of Riga and in the Irben Strait, no service for 
tugs and barges. 
Russia 
The tow boat-barges are not assisted to St. Petersburg, Vyborg, Vysotsk and Ust-Luga. 
Icebreaker: Icebreakers IVAN KRUZENSTERN and SEMYAN DEZNEV assist vessels in the port of 
St.Petersburg. In the ports Vyborg and Vysotsk vessels are assisted by icebreaker SANKT PETERSBURG and 
KAPITAN IZMAILOW. ERMAK and MOSKVA are working in the port of Primorsk. KARU and YURI LISYANSKI 
are assisting in the port Ust Luga. 
On the fairway from the receiving buoy to the island Gogland vessels are assisted by icebreakers MUDJUG, 
KAPITAN SOROKIN and TOR.
