Rinne verläuft entlang der Küste von Värmlandsnäs, 
Jınd außerhalb des Festeises kommen im N sowie 
N-lich von Djurö Risse vor. Sonst mit ebenem oder 
sehr dichtem, morsch werdendem, 20-40 cm dicken 
Eis bedeckt.

Rigaischer Meerbusen 
Estnische Küste: Im Moonsund kommt 20-40 cm 
dickes Festeis und dichtes Eis vor. Die W-liche 
Pärnubucht ist mit 40-50 cm dickem Festeis be- 
deckt, im E liegt dichtes Eis. Weiter im Fahrwasser 
zur Irbenstraße sehr dichtes bis dichtes 15-35 cm 
dickes Eis. In der Irbenstraße kommt offenes 
Wasser vor. - Lettische Küste: Der Hafen von Riga 
und das Fahrwasser bis zur Irbenstraße sind eisfrei. 
Finnischer Meerbusen 
Estnische Küste: In der Narva-, Kunda-, Muuga- 
und Tallinnbucht kommt offenes Wasser vor. An der 
Küste liegt in einigen kleineren Buchten Festeis oder 
sehr dichtes Eis, außerhalb davon kommt sehr 
lockeres Eis oder offenes Wasser vor. - Finnische 
Küste: Das Festeis in den W-lichen Schären ist 20- 
50 cm dick, und es wird morsch. Außerhalb davon 
kommt dichtes bis sehr dichtes 10-40 cm dickes Eis 
vor. Die E-lichen Schären sind mit 25-60 cm dickem, 
nNorsch werdenden Festeis bedeckt. Außerhalb 
davon liegt ein 3-20 sm breites Gebiet mit sehr 
ıockerem Eis und offenem Wasser; anschließend 
kommt dichtes bis sehr dichtes 25-45 cm dickes Eis 
vor. - Russische Küste: In den Häfen von St. 
Petersburg kommt dichtes Eis vor. Weiter W-wärts 
im Fahrwasser bis Kotlin 45-65 cm dickes 
aufbrechendes Festeis, dann sehr dichtes 30-50 cm 
dickes Eis bis MoSCnyj, anschließend sehr dichtes 
25-40 cm dickes Eis bis zur Länge von RodSer, 
gefolgt von sehr lockerem bis lockerem 15-30 cm 
dicken Eis. - Die Vyborgbucht ist mit 45-65 cm 
dickem Festeis bedeckt, weiter bis zum Leuchtturm 
Sommers kommt sehr dichtes 30-50 cm dickes Eis, 
dann sehr dichtes 25-40 cm dickes Eis vor. - Im 
Berkezund liegt 45-65 cm dickes Festeis, in der 
Einfahrt sehr dichtes 30-50 cm dickes Eis. - In der 
_ugabucht 25-45 cm dickes Festeis bis zur Breite 
von Kap Luto, in der Copora Bucht 25-45 cm dickes 
Festeis an der Küste. Anschließend kommt auf 3-7 
sm offenes Wasser, dann sehr dichtes 25-45 cm 
dickes Eis vor. 
Schärenmeer 
In den inneren Schären liegt 30-50 cm dickes Fest- 
ais, in den äußeren Schären 15-35 cm dickes 
ebenes Eis und zusammenhängendes Treibeis bis 
Utö. 
Älandsee 
Wechselweise lockeres und dichtes 5-20 cm dickes 
Treibeis; Schifffahrt durch Oregrundsgrepen ist nicht 
emofehlenswert. 
Gulf of Riga 
Estonian Coast: In Moon Sound there is 20-40 cm 
thick fast ice and close ice. In the western Pärnu 
Bay there is 40-50 cm thick fast ice, and in the 
eastern part close ice occurs. Farther out on the 
fairway to Irben Strait there is very close to close 
15-35 cm thick ice. In the Irben Strait there is open 
water. - Latvian Coast: The port of Riga and the 
fairway to the Irben Strait are ice-free. 
Gulf of Finland 
Estonian Coast: In the Bights of Narva, Kunda, 
Muuga and Tallinn there is open water. At the coast 
fast ice or very close ice occurs in some smaller 
bays, farther off there is very open ice or open 
water. - Finnish Coast: In the western 
archipelagos there is 20-50 cm thick rottening fast 
ice, farther out there is close to very close 10-40 cm 
thick ice. The eastern archipelagos are covered 
with 25-60 cm thick rottening fast ice. Farther off 
there is a 3-20 nm wide zone with very open ice 
and open water, south of it close to very close 25- 
45 cm thick ice occurs. - Russian Coast: In the 
harbours of St. Petersburg there is close ice. Farther 
westwards on the fairway 45-65 cm thick fracturing 
fast ice occurs to Kotlin, then very close 30-50 cm 
ihick ice to MoS&nyj, followed by very close 25-40 cm 
thick ice to the longitude of RodSer, finally by open 
to close 15-30 cm thick ice. - The Vyborg Bay is 
zovered with 45-65 cm thick fast ice, followed by very 
slose 30-50 cm thick ice up to the lighthouse 
Sommers. Farther out there is very close 25-40 cm 
thick ice. - In Berkezund there is 45-65 cm thick fast 
ice, in the entrance there is very close 30-50 cm 
thick ice. - In the Luga Bay there is 25-45 cm thick 
fast ice up to the latitude of Cape Luto, in the 
Copora Bay 25-45 cm thick fast ice along the coast. 
Farther out there is for 3-7 nm open water, then 
very close 25-45 cm thick ice. 
Archipelago Sea 
There is 30-50 cm thick fast ice in the inner 
archipelago. In the outer skerries, 15-35 cm thick 
level ice and consaolidated drift ice to Ut6. 
Sea of Äland 
Alternating open to close 5-20 cm thick ice; Transit 
traffic through Oregrundsgrepen is not advisable.
