Übersicht 
Die Eisverhältnisse im N-lichen Ostseeraum haben 
sich seit gestern nicht wesentlich geändert. 
Overview 
Ice conditions in the northern region of the Baltic 
Sea have not changed very much since 
yesterday. 
North Sea 
Danish Coast: In the sheltered inshore waters 
there is still rotten ice, in places. 
Skagerrak, Kattegat, Belts and Sound 
Danish Coast: In small harbours and sheltered 
and shallow coastal waters there are remnants of 
rotten ice. - Norwegian Coast: In some inner 
jords along the coast there is open to close 10-30 
am thick ice and up to 50 cm thick fast ice. - 
Swedish Coast: In the archipelagos there is 10- 
30 cm thick rotten ice. 
Nordsee 
Dänische Küste: Stellenweise kommt in ge- 
schützten inneren Gewässern morsches Eis vor. 
Skagerrak, Kattegat, Belte und Sund 
Dänische Küste: In kleineren Häfen und geschützt 
ijegenden sowie flachen Küstengewässern kommen 
norsche Eisreste vor. - Norwegische Küste: In 
einigen inneren Fjorden entlang der Küste lockeres 
bis dichtes 10-30 cm dickes Eis und bis zu 50 cm 
dickes Festeis. - Schwedische Küste: In den 
Schären kommt 10-30 cm dickes morsches Eis vor. 
Westliche und Südliche Ostsee 
Dänische Küste: In kleineren Häfen und geschützt 
‘liegenden und flachen Küstengewässern liegt bis zu 
‘5 cm dickes morsches Eis. - Deutsche Küste: In 
der Palmer-Ort-Rinne und im NE-Teil des Kleinen 
Äaffs liegt dichtes 5-30 cm dickes morsches Eis, 
sonst kommt überwiegend offenes Wasser vor. - 
Litauische Küste: Im Kurischen Haff treibt im N-Teil 
sehr lockeres Eis, sonst mit 40-56 cm dickem Eis 
vedeckt. - Polnische Küste: Im Stettiner Haff 
xommt lockeres bis dichtes 10-15 cm dickes Eis vor. 
Das Fahrwasser nach Stettin ist eisfrei. - 
Schwedische Küste: Bei Karlskrona dichtes bis 
sehr lockeres 5-20 cm dickes Eis. 
Western and Southern Baltic 
Danish Coast: In small harbours and sheltered and 
shallow coastal waters there is up to 15 cm thick 
‚otten ice. - German Coast: In the Palmer-Ort- 
Rinne and in the northeastern part of the Kleines 
Haff there is close 5-30 cm thick rotten ice, 
atherwise mostly open water occurs. - Lithuanian 
Coast: In the Courland Lagoon very open ice is 
drifting in the northern part, otherwise covered with 
40-56 cm thick ice. - Polish Coast: There is open 
to close 10-15 cm thick ice in the Stettin Lagoon. 
The fairway to Stettin is ice-free. - Swedish Coast: 
At Karlskrona there is close to open very open 5-20 
cm thick ice
