Finnischer Meerbusen 
Estnische Küste: In der Narva Bucht Festeis an der 
«üste und außerhalb davon 10-20 cm dickes, 
dichtes Eis. In der Kundabucht dichtes Neueis, in 
der Muugabucht treibt 15-30 cm dickes, sehr dichtes 
Eis, in der Tallinnbucht kommt sehr dichtes 10-30 
cm dickes Eis vor. Auf See liegt östlich von 
Ossmussaar zusammengepresstes, dichtes bis sehr 
dichtes, 20-35 cm dickes Eis. W-lich davon kommt 
10-25cm dickes, lockeres Eis vor. - Finnische 
Küste: In den Schären liegt 20-50 cm dickes 
Festeis. Außerhalb davon kommt im Westen Neueis 
vor und im Osten sehr lockeres Eis und Neueis in 
einer 5-25 Sm breiten Rinne, gefolgt von 15-40cm 
dicken, sehr dichten Eis. - Russische Küste: In den 
Zäfen von St. Petersburg liegt Festeis. Weiter W-lich 
'm Fahrwasser bis Kotlin 45-65 cm dickes Festeis, 
dann 30-45 cm dickes, sehr dichtes Eis bis MoSCny], 
gefolgt von 20-35 cm dicken, sehr dichtem Eis. - Die 
Vyborgbucht ist mit 45-60 cm dickem Festeis 
bedeckt, weiter bis zum Leuchtturm Sommers 
<ommt 30-45 cm dickes, sehr dichtes Eis vor, dann 
20-35 cm dickes, sehr dichtes Eis. - Im Berkezund 
'iegt 40-55 cm dickes Festeis, in der Einfahrt sehr 
dichtes, 30-45 cm dickes Eis. - In der Lugabucht 25- 
40 cm dickes Festeis bis zur Breite von Kap Luto, 
anschließend sehr dichtes 25-40 cm dickes Eis. In 
der Copora Bucht 25-40 cm dickes Festeis an der 
Küste, dann kommt sehr dichtes 25-40 cm dickes 
Eis vor. 
Schärenmeer 
In den inneren Schären liegt 25-50 cm dickes Fest- 
eis, in den äußeren Schären 15-35 cm dickes 
ebenes Eis und zusammenhängendes Treibeis bis 
Jtö. 
Älandsee 
Zwischen Understen und Märket, sowie weiter in 
SE-liche Richtung treibt 5-20cm dickes, dichtes Eis. 
Ansonsten kommt auf See offenes Wasser und sehr 
ıockeres Eis vor. 
Bottensee 
Finnische Küste: In den Schären liegt 25-50 cm 
dickes Festeis. Außerhalb der Festeiskante erstreckt 
sich ein Gebiet mit kompaktem 10-30 cm dicken Eis, 
welches stark aufgepresst ist. , anschließend liegt 
etwa bis zur Linie Norrskär — Finngrundet - Söder- 
ı1amn sehr dichtes 5-30 cm dickes Eis mit großen 
offenen Bereichen dazwischen. - Schwedische 
Küste: Meist offenes Wasser. In der Gävle Bucht 
jegt dichtes und sehr dichtes ausserhalb von Västra 
3anken und nördlich von Grundkallen. NE-lich von 
Grungkallen kommen schwere Presseisrücken vor. 
Jer Ängermanälven ist mit bis zu 50 cm dickem 
Festeis bedeckt. 
Norra Kvarken 
Finnische Küste: Von Vaasa bis Norra Gloppsten 
jegt 35-55 cm dickes Festeis. Außerhalb davon

Gulf of Finland 
Estonian Coast: In The Bight of Narva there is fast 
ce near the coast and 10-20 cm thick close ice 
farther out. In the Kunda Bay there is close new ice, 
in the Muuga Bay there is 15-30cm thick very close 
ice. In the Tallinn Bay there is very close 10-30 cm 
thick ice. At sea east of Ossmussaar there is 
zompressed, close to very close, 20-35 cm thick 
ice, west of it 10-25 cm thick open ice occurs. - 
Finnish Coast: In the archipelagos there is 20-50 
cm thick fast ice. Farther out there is new ice in the 
western part. In the eastern part there is very open 
ice and new ice in a 5-25nm wide lead, followed by 
15-40cm thick, very close ice. - Russian Coast: In 
the harbours of St. Petersburg there is fast ice. 
Farther westwards on the fairway 45-65 cm thick fast 
ice occurs to Kotlin, then very close 30-45 cm thick 
ice to MoSCnyj, followed by very close 20-35 cm thick 
ce. - The Vyborg Bay is covered with 45-60 cm thick 
fast ice, followed by very close 30-45 cm thick ice up 
to the lighthouse Sommers. Farther out there is very 
close 20-35 cm thick ice. - In Berkezund there is 40- 
55 cm thick fast ice, in the entrance there is very 
close, 30-45 cm thick ice. - In the Luga Bay there is 
25-40 cm thick fast ice up to the latitude of Cape 
Luto, farther out there is very close 25-40 cm thick 
ice. In the Copora Bay 25-40 cm thick fast ice along 
the coast, farther out there is very close 25-40 cm 
thick ice. 
Archipelago Sea 
There is 25-50 cm thick fast ice in the inner 
archipelago. In the outer skerries, 15-35 cm thick 
level ice and consolidated drift ice to Utö. 
Sea of Äland 
Between Understen and Märket and farther to the 
southeast there is 5-20cm thick close drift ice. Else 
at sea there is open water and very open ice 
Sea of Bothnia 
Finnish Coast: In the archipelago 25-50 cm thick 
fast ice occurs. Off the fast ice edge there is a zone 
of compact 10-30 cm thick ice, which is heavily 
ridged. Farther out there is approximately to the line 
Norrskär —- Finngrundet - Söderhamn very close 5- 
30 cm thick ice with large open areas in-between. - 
Swedish Coast: Mostly open water. iln the Gävle 
aight there is close and very close ice outside of 
Västra Banken and north of Grundkallen. Heavy 
fidges occur northeast of Grundkallen. The 
Ängermanälven is covered with up to 50 cm thick 
fast ice. 
Norra Kvarken 
Finnish Coast: Between Vaasa and HNorra 
Gloppsten there is 35-55 cm thick fast ice. Farther
