anfänglich lockeres Eis, dann eisfrei 
Finnischer Meerbusen 
Estnische Küste: In der Bucht von Narva befindet 
sich Festeis an der Küste, weiter draußen lockeres 
Eis. In der Kunda-, Muuga- und Tallinbucht liegt sehr 
dichtes Eis. Auf See östlich von Tallin erst 10-25cm 
dickes lockeres Eis, dann 15-30cm dickes sehr 
dichtes Eis, westlich von Tallin 10-30cm dickes 
dichtes Eis. - Finnische Küste: In den Schären liegt 
20-50 cm dickes Festeis. Außerhalb liegt von 
Tiüskeri bis Leuchttum Helsinki und weiter nach 
Nesten eine mit dünnem Eis bedeckte Rinne. Im 
Osten schließt sich an der Rinne 20-40cm dickes, 
sehr dichtes Eis mit vielen Presseisrücken an, in 
dem auch mit Neueis bedeckte Areale vorkommen. 
- Russische Küste: In den Häfen von St. 
Petersburg liegt Festeis. Weiter westlich im 
Fahrwasser bis Kotlin 45-60 cm dickes Festeis, 
dann sehr dichtes 30-45 cm dickes Eis bis MoSCnyj, 
gefolgt von sehr dichten 10-30 cm dicken Eis. - Die 
Vyborgbucht ist mit 40-55 cm dickem Festeis 
bedeckt, weiter bis zum Leuchtturm Sommers 
xommt sehr dichtes 30-45 cm dickes Eis vor, dann 
sehr dichtes 20-30 cm dickes Eis. - Im Berkezund 
jegt 40-55 cm dickes Festeis, in der Einfahrt sehr 
dichtes 30-45 cm dickes Eis. - In der Lugabucht liegt 
25-40 cm dickes Festeis bis zur Breite von Kap Luto, 
gefolgt von Neueis bis Kap Kolgompya und dann 
sehr dichtes 25-40 cm dickes Eis. In der Copora 
Bucht 25-40 cm dickes Festeis, in der Einfahrt sehr 
dichtes 25-40 cm dickes Eis. 
Schärenmeer 
In den inneren Schären liegt 20-50 cm dickes Fest- 
eis, in den äußeren Schären 15-30 cm dickes 
ebenes Eis und zusammengefrorenes Treibeis bis 
Utö. Weiter außerhalb Neueis. 
Älandsee 
Jberwiegend 20-35 cm dickes, sehr dichtes Eis. An 
der schwedischen Küste, von Simpnäsklubb bis 
ainter Armbägen liegt sehr lockeres bis lockeres, 
dünnes Eis. 
Bottensee 
Finnische Küste: In den Schären liegt 25-50 cm 
dickes Festeis. Außerhalb der Festeiskante befindet 
sich ein schmales Gebiet mit 10-25cm dicken sehr 
dichten Eis, gefolgt von Neueis und dünnem 
ebenem Eis zur Mitte der Bottensee und bis zur 
3reite von Uusikaupunki. - Schwedische Küste: 
Nördlich von Sundsvall liegt entlang der Küste ein 
20-30sm breites Gebiet mit dünnen ebenem Eis, in 
den vereinzelt dickere, große Schollen vorkommen. 
Ansonsten kommt im zentralen und im südlichen 
Zereich 15-40cm dickes, sehr dichtes Eis vor. Der 
Ängermanälven ist mit bis zu 50cm dicken Festeis 
bedeckt. 
Gulf of Finland 
Estonian Coast: In bay of Narva, fast ice near the 
zoast and open ice further out. In Kunda, Muuga 
and Tallin bay there is very close ice. At sea east of 
Tallin there is first 10-25cm thick open ice and then 
10-30cm thick very close ice; west of Tallin there is 
10-30cm thick close ice.. - Finnish Coast: In the 
archipelagos there is 20-50 cm thick fast ice. 
Further out a lead, covered with thin ice streiches 
from Tiiskeri to the lighthouse Helsinki and farther 
westwards. South of the lead in the eastern part 
there is 20-40cm thick, heavily ridged very close ice 
with some areas of new ice in places. - Russian 
Coast: In the harbours of St. Petersburg there is fast 
ce. Farther westwards on the fairway 45-60 cm thick 
fast ice occurs to Kotlin, then very close 30-45 cm 
thick ice to MoSCnyj, followed by very close 10-30 cm 
Ihick ice. - The Vyborg Bay is covered with 40-55 cm 
tIhick fast ice, followed by very close 30-45 cm thick 
ice up to the lighthouse Sommers, farther out there is 
very Close 20-30 cm thick ice. - In Berkezund there is 
40-55 cm thick fast ice, in the entrance there is very 
close 30-45 cm thick ice. - In the Luga Bay there is 
25-40 cm thick fast ice up to the latitude of Cape 
Luto, followed by new ice to Cape Kolgompya and 
very close 25-40 cm thick ice farther out. In the 
Copora Bay 25-40 cm thick fast ice, in the entrance 
there is very close 25-40 cm thick ice. 
Archipelago Sea 
There is 20-50 cm thick fast ice in the inner 
archipelago. In the outer skerries, 15-30 cm thick 
level ice and consolidated drift ice to Utö. Farther 
out new ice. 
Sea of Äland 
Mostly 20-35 cm thick, very close ice. Along the 
Swedish coast, between Simpäsklubb and 
Armbägen there is very open to open thin ice. 
Sea of Bothnia 
Finnish Coast: In the archipelago 25-50 cm thick 
fast ice occurs. Off the fast ice edge, there is a 
narrow zone of 10-25 cm thick very close ice. 
Farther out, up to the middle part and to the latitude 
af Uusikaupunki there is new ice and thin level ice. - 
Swedish Coast: North of Sundsvall there is a 20- 
30nm wide area along the coast with thin level ice , 
in which some thick large floes are interspersed. In 
the central and southern regions there is 15-40cm 
thick very close ice. The Ängermanälven is covered 
with up to 50cm thick fast ice
