Übersicht 
in der Bottensee ist das Eis weiter nach Norden 
gedriftet, im südlichen Teil hat sich eine Rinne 
geöffnet. 
Nordsee 
Dänische Küste: Im Limfjord kommt 10-20 cm 
dickes Festeis vor. - Deutsche Küste: Die Nord- 
‘riesischen Küstegewässern sind weitgehend eisfrei. 
Bei Amrum wurde kein Eis beobachtet. Im Hafen 
von Tönning befindet sich 15-30 cm dickes 
nNorsches Festeis mit einigen offenen Stellen. In der 
3eim Eiderdamm befindet sich dichtes Eis von 10- 
15 cm Dicke, das sich durch windinduzierte Drift dort 
angesammelt hat. Im Nord-Ostsee-Kanal tritt 
zwischen Holtenau und Fischerhütte dichtes bis 
ockeres 5-10 cm dickes Eis auf. Brunsbüttel ist 
eisfrei. 
Overview 
In the Sea of Bothnia, ice has drifted further 
towards the north, in the southern part a lead 
developed. 
North Sea 
Danish Coast: In the Limfjord 10-20 cm thick fast 
ice. - German Coast: In the Northfrisian coastal 
area waters are mostly ice free. At Amrum no ice is 
observed. In the harbour of Tönning 15-30 cm thick 
rottening fast ice occurs with small open areas. At 
Eiderdamm close ice of 10-15 cm thickness has 
cumulated due to wind induced ice drift. On the Kiel 
Canal, from Holtenau to Fischerhütte, is very close 
to open 5-10 cm thick ice, Fischerhütte to 
Brunsbüttel is ice-free. 
Skagerrak, Kattegat, Belte und Sund 
Auf See kommt sowohl im NW-Teil des Skagerraks 
vor der norwegischen Küste als auch im nördlichen 
<attegat dichtes bis lockeres 5-10 cm dickes Eis vor. 
Dänische Küste: In kleineren Häfen und geschützt 
ijegenden sowie flachen Küstengewässern liegt bis 
zu 20 cm dickes Festeis. Die Belten und der Sund 
sind weitestgehend eisfrei. - Norwegische Küste: In 
vielen Fjorden entlang der Küste dichtes bis 
kompaktes 5-30 cm dickes Eis und bis zu 40 cm 
dickes Festeis. - Schwedische Küste: In den 
Schären und geschützten Buchten N-lich von 
Göteborg 20-45 cm dickes Festeis. 
Skagerrak, Kattegat, Belts and Sound 
Off the Norwegian coast there is open water with 5- 
10 cm thick ice in the north-western part of 
Skagerrak as well as in the northern Kattegat. 
Danish Coast: In small harbours and sheltered 
and shallow coastal waters there is up to 20 cm 
ihick fast ice. In the Belts and the Sound areas are 
mostly ice free. - Norwegian Coast: In many fjords 
along the coast there is close to compact 5-30 cm 
thick ice and up to 40 cm thick fast ice. - Swedish 
Coast: In the archipelagos and sheltered areas, 
20-45 cm fast ice.
