Übersicht 
im N-lichen Ostseeraum nehmen die Eisdicken in 
allen Bereichen zu. An der Nordseeküste nimmt das 
Eis weiter ab. 
Nordsee 
Dänische Küste: Im Limfjord und bei Ringkebing 
kommt bis zu 50 cm dickes Festeis vor. - Deutsche 
Küste: Auf der Elbe kommt bei Hamburg sehr 
ockeres 5-10 cm dickes Eis, bei Stadersand 
ockeres über 30 cm dickes Eis und ab Glückstadt 
nNeist offenes Wasser vor. Im nordfriesischen 
Wattenmeer offenes Wasser oder lockeres Eis, in 
den Häfen und geschützten Bereichen liegt auch 
dichtes bis kompaktes 15-30 dickes Eis, 
stellenweise auch dicker. Im Nord-Ostsee-Kanal 
zwischen Holtenau und Fischerhütte dichtes bis sehr 
dichtes 10-30 cm dickes Eis, sonst kommt sehr 
ockeres dünnes Eis vor. - Niederländische Küste: 
im Bereich Eems treiben einzelne kleine 
Eisschollen. 
Overview 
The ice in all areas of the northern region of the 
Baltic Sea gets thicker. At the Northern Sea coast 
ice retreat continues. 
North Sea 
Danish Coast: In the Limfjord and near 
Aingkebing there is up to 50 cm thick fast ice. - 
German Coast: On the river Elbe very open 5-10 
cm thick ice occurs in Hamburg, at Stadersand 
ihere is open over 30 cm thick ice, and from 
Glückstadt there is mostly open water. In the 
Northfrisian Wadden Sea there is open water and 
open ice, but in harbours and sheltered regions 
‘here is also close to compact 15-30 cm thick ice, 
in places also thicker. On the Kiel Canal there is 
close to very close 10-30 cm thick ice between 
Holtenau and Fischerhütte, else there is very open 
thin ice. - Dutch Coast: In the area of Eems some 
ice floes are drifting. 
Skagerrak, Kattegat, Belte und Sund 
Auf See liegt im NW-Teil des Skagerraks vor der 
ı1orwegischen Küste dichtes 5-15 cm dickes Eis. Im 
Kattegat kommt N-lich von Anholt dichtes 5-10 cm 
dickes Eis vor, und außerhalb der dänischen Küste 
treibt stellenweise lockeres dünnes Eis. 
Dänische Küste: In kleineren Häfen und geschützt 
‘liegenden und flachen Küstengewässern liegt bis zu 
30 cm dickes Festeis. In den Belten und im Sund 
kommen auf See Bereiche mit lockerem dünnen Eis 
vor. - Norwegische Küste: Im Fahrwasser nach 
Kristiansand und im Oslofiord kommt dichtes bis 
Skagerrak, Kattegat, Belts and Sound 
Off the Norwegian coast there is close 5-15 cm

ihe Kattegat there is close 5-10 cm thick ice north 
of Anholt, and open thin ice is drifting in places off 
‘he Danish coast.
