Übersicht 
Vom Finnischen Meerbusen bis zur Bottenvik haben 
die Eisdicken zugenommen. Das Eis in Nordsee, im 
Skagerrak und im Kattegat hat etwas abgenommen. 
Overview 
There was an increase in ice thickness from the 
Gulf of Finland up to the Bay of Bothnia. In the 
North Sea, the Skagerrak and the Kattegat the ice 
as diminished somewhat. 
Nordsee 
Dänische Küste: Im Limfjord und bei Ringkeobing 
<ommt bis zu 50 cm dickes Festeis vor. - Deutsche 
Küste: Auf der Ems offenes Wasser Auf der Elbe 
<ommt bei Hamburg sehr lockeres 10-15 cm dickes 
Eis vor, bei Stadersand lockeres über 30 cm dickes 
Eis, bei Glückstadt lockeres 5-15cm dickes Eis und 
ab Brunsbüttel kommt meist offenes Wasser vor. Im 
1ordfriesischen Wattenmeer kommt offenes Wasser 
oder lockeres Eis vor, in den Häfen und geschützten 
3Zereichen liegt auch dichtes bis kompaktes Eis, 15- 
30 dick, stellenweise auch dicker. Im Nord-Ostsee- 
Kanal treibt zwischen Holtenau und Fischerhütte 
dichtes bis sehr dichtes 10-30 cm dickes Eis, sonst 
<ommt sehr lockeres dünnes Eis vor. - 
Niederländische Küste: Im Bereich Eems treiben 
einzelne kleine Eisschollen. 
North Sea 
Danish Coast: In the Limfjord and near 
Ringkebing there is up to 50 cm thick fast ice. - 
German Coast: On the Ems there is open water. 
On the river Elbe very open 10-15 cm thick ice 
accurs in Hamburg, at Stadersand there is open 
aver 30 cm thick ice, at Glückstadt there is 5-15cm 
thick open, and from Brunsbüttel farther out there is 
mostly open water. In the Northfrisian Wadden Sea 
there is open water and open ice, but in harbours 
and sheltered regions there is also close to 
compact ice, 15-30 cm thick, in places also thicker. 
On the Kiel Canal there is close to very close 10-30 
cm thick ice between Holtenau and Fischerhütte, 
else there is very open thin ice.. - Dutch Coast: In 
the area of kEems some ice floes are drifting. 
Skagerrak, Kattegat, Belte und Sund 
Auf See liegt im NW-Teil des Skagerraks, vor der 
1orwegischen Küste, 5-15cm dickes dichtes Eis. Im 
<attegat liegt nördlich von Anholt 5-10cm dickes 
dichtes Eis und vor der dänischen Küste treibt 
stellenweise lockeres Eis. 
Dänische Küste: In kleineren Häfen und geschützt 
jegenden und flachen Küstengewässern kommt bis 
zu 30 cm dickes Festeis vor. In den Belten und im 
Sund kommen auf See Bereiche mit lockerem 
Skagerrak, Kattegat, Belts and Sound 
At sea there is 5-15cm thick close ice in the north- 
western part, out of the Norwegian coast, of the 
Skagerrak. In the Kattegat there is 5-10cm thick 
close ice north of Anholt and open ice is drifting in 
places outside the Danish coast. 
Danish Coast: In small harbours and sheltered 
and shallow coastal waters there is up to 30 cm 
thick fast ice. In the Belts and the Sound areas with
