Norwegische Küste: Im _Fahrwasser nach 
Kristiansand und im Oslofjord kommt örtlich dichtes 
5-15 cm dickes Eis vor. Im Hafen Oslo 10-15 cm 
dickes Festeis und außerhalb davon sehr dichtes 
Eis. In vielen Fjorden entlang der Küste dichtes bis 
kompaktes 5-30 cm dickes Eis und bis zu 50 cm 
dickes Festeis. - Schwedische Küste: In den 
Schären und geschützten Buchten N-lich von 
Göteborg 20-45 cm dickes Festeis, außerhalb davon 
ein schmaler Streifen mit offenem Wasser. Der 
Oresund ist überwiegend eisfrei. 
Westliche und Südliche Ostsee 
Dänische Küste: In den Häfen auf der Insel 
Bornholm kommt Neueis vor. - Deutsche Küste: In 
der Kieler Bucht treiben auf See Streifen mit 
lockerem Eis und Eisschlamm. Die innere 
7lensburger Fjorde ist mit 5-15 cm dickem Eis 
bedeckt. In den Häfen und Förden der Kieler Bucht 
liegt dünnes Eis, die Schlei ist mit 20-25 cm dickem 
Eis bedeckt. Im Fehmarnbelt treiben Streifen mit 
'ockerem bis dichtem 5-15 cm dicken Eis, im 
Fehmarnsund kommt dichtes 5-30 cm dickes Eis, 
das im Osteingang zusammengeschoben ist, vor. In 
den Häfen der Lübecker Bucht sehr dichtes bis sehr 
.ockeres 10-30 cm dickes Eis, an den Küsten 
offenes Wasser, aber in der inneren Bucht treibt 15- 
30 cm dickes Eis. Bei Wismar dichtes 15-25 cm 
dickes Eis. In den Rostocker Häfen sehr dichtes bis 
sehr lockeres 5-25 cm dickes Eis. 20-35 cm dickes 
Festeis liegt in den inneren Boddengewässern und 
im Haff, sowie an den Küsten des Greifswalder 
Boddens. Im inneren Greifswalder Bodden 
überwiegend kompaktes 30-50 cm dickes Eis, an 
der N-Küste mit Aufpressungen. Im W-Teil der 
Pommerschen Bucht liegt lockeres bis kompaktes 
15-25 cm dickes Trümmereis und 
zusammengefrorener bis zu 50 cm dicker 
Eisschlamm. - Litauische Küste: Im Hafen von 
Klaipeda und in der Einfahrt treibt lockerer bis sehr 
ockerer Eisbrei langsam NW-wärts. In Fahrwassern 
meist offenes Wasser. Das Kurische Haff ist mit 48- 
61 cm dickem Festeis bedeckt. - Polnische Küste: 
im Stettiner Haff liegt 20-30 cm dickes Festeis, im 
Fahrwasser Szczecin — Swinoujscie kommt dichtes, 
zerbrochenes 25-30 cm dickes Eis vor. Im Hafen 
Szczecin und im Hafen Swinoujscie dichtes 15-30 
cm dickes Eis. in der Pommerschen Bucht im 
Fahrwasser lockeres 10-20 cm dickes Eis. In den 
Häfen entlang der Küste örtlich offenes Wasser. In 
der Gdansker Bucht kommt offenes Wasser vor. - 
Schwedische Küste: Bei Karlskrona liegt sehr 
dichtes 10-25 cm dickes Eis. 
Mittlere und Nördliche Ostsee 
Estnische Küste: Vor der Küste von Saaremaa und 
Hilumaa kommt lockeres bis dichtes 5-15 cm dickes 
Eis vor. - Lettische Küste: Im Hafen von Ventspils 
‚Oockeres dünnes Eis, im Hafen von Liepaja liegt sehr 
dichtes 5-10 cm dickes Eis. In den Fahrwassern 
kommt offenes Wasser vor. -Schwedische Küste:

10-15 cm thick fast ice and very close ice outside. 
'n many fjords along the coast there is close to 
compact 5-30 cm thick ice and up to 50 cm thick 
fast ice. - Swedish Coast: In the archipelagos and 
sheltered bays there is north of Göteborg 20-45 cm 
fast ice, farther off a narrow belt with open water. 
Oresund is mostly ice-free. 
Western and Southern Baltic 
Danish Coast: In the harbours of island Bornholm 
there is new ice. - German Coast: At sea in the 
Bight of Kiel some strips of open ice and slush are 
drifting. The inner fjord of Flensburg is covered with 
5-15 cm thick ice. In the harbours and fjords of the 
Bight of Kiel there is thin ice, the Schlei is covered 
with 20-25 cm thick ice. In the Fehmarnbelt strips 
of open to close 5-15 cm thick ice are drifting, in 
the Fehmarnsund there is close 5-30 cm thick ice, 
which is compacted at the eastern entrance. In the 
harbours of the Bay of Lübeck very open to very 
close 10-30 cm thick ice, along the coasts open 
water, but in the inner part 15-30 cm thick ice is 
drifting. At Wismar there is close ice, 15-25 cm 
'hick. In the ports of Rostock there is very close to 
very open 5-25 cm thick ice. 20-35 cm thick fast ice 
occurs in the Bodden waters and in the Haff as well 
as along the coast of the Greifswalder Bodden. In 
the inner Greifswalder Bodden there is mostly 
compact 30-50 cm thick ice with ice pressure at the 
northern coast. In the western part of the 
Pomeranian Bight open to compact 15-25 cm thick 
brash ice and frozen up to 50 cm thick slush 
occurs. - Lithuanian Coast: In the harbour of 
Klaipeda and in the entrance open to very open 
shuga is drifting slowly northwestwards. On the 
fairways there is mostly open water. The Courland 
Lagoon is covered with 48-61 cm thick fast ice. - 
Polish Coast: In Szeczecin Lagoon there is 20-30 
cm thick fast ice; on the fairway Szezecin — 
Swinoujscie there is close broken 25-30 cm thick 
ice. In the port of Szezecin and in the port of 
Swinoujscie close 15-30 cm thick ice. In the 
Pomeranian Bight open 10-20 cm thick ice on the 
“airway. In the ports along the coast there is open 
water in places. In the Bight of Gdansk open water 
occurs. - Swedish Coast: At Karlskrona there is 
very close 10-25 cm thick ice. 
Central and Northern Baltic 
Estonian Coast: Off the coast of Saaremaa and 
Hiiumaa open to close 5-15 cm thick ice occurs. - 
Latvian Coast: In the port of Ventspils there is 
open thin ice, in the port of Liepaja very close 5-10 
cm thick ice. On the fairways there is open water. -
