In den Belten und im Sund kommt offenes Wasser 
Jnd sehr lockeres Eis vor, vor der Küste treibt 
Neueis und stellenweise lockeres 5-10 cm dickes 
Eis. - Norwegische Küste: Im Fahrwasser nach 
Kristiansand und im Oslofjord kommt Eis vor. Im 
Hafen Oslo 10-15 cm dickes Festeis und außerhalb 
davon sehr dichtes Eis. An der Küste stellenweise 
sehr dichtes 5-15 cm dickes Eis. In vielen Fjorden 
entlang der Küste dichtes bis kompaktes 5-30 cm 
dickes Eis und bis zu 50cm dickes Festeis. - 
Schwedische Küste: In den Schären und 
geschützten Buchten N-lich von Göteborg 20-45 cm, 
sonst 10-25 cm dickes Festeis. Entlang der Küste 
treibt lockeres Neueis. Im Kattegat kommt S-lich von 
Anholt dichtes dünnes Treibeis, sonst Neueis vor. 
Der Oresund ist zum Teil mit dichtem dünnen Eis 
oder Eisbrei bedeckt. Außerhalb Karlskrona liegt 
sehr dichtes, teilweise übereinandergeschobenes 5- 
10 cm dickes Eis. 
Belts and the Sound there is open water and very 
open ice, outside the coast new ice and open 5-10 
cm thick ice is drifting. - Norwegian Coast: On the 
fairway to Kristiansand and in the Oslofjord ice is 
present: In Oslo port there is 10-15 cm thick fast 
ice and very close ice outside. At the coast very 
close 5-15 cm thick ice occurs. In many fjords 
along the coast there is close to compact 5-30 cm 
thick ice and up to 50 cm thick fast ice. - Swedish 
Coast: In the archipelagos and sheltered bays 
there is north of Göteborg 20-45 cm, else 10-25 cm 
thick fast ice. Along the coast there is open new 
ice. In the Kattegat there is south of Anholt close 
r'hin ice, else new ice occurs. The Oresund is partly 
covered by close thin ice or shuga. Off Karlskrona 
there is very close, partly rafted 5-10 cm thick ice. 
Westliche und Südliche Ostsee 
Dänische Küste: In den Häfen auf der Insel 
Bornholm kommt Neueis und Eisbildung vor. - 
Deutsche Küste: In der Kieler Bucht kommt 
außerhalb der Küsten offenes Wasser vor, auf See 
treiben Streifen mit lockerem Eis. Die innere 
Flensburger Fjorde ist mit 5-10 cm dickem Eis 
vedeckt. In den Häfen und Förden der Kieler Bucht 
iegt dünnes Eis und Neueis, die Schlei ist mit 20-25 
cm dickem Eis bedeckt. Im Fehmarnbelt treiben 
Streifen mit lockerem bis dichtem 5-15 cm dicken 
Eis, im Fehmarnsund kommt dichtes 5-15 cm dickes 
Eis vor. In den Häfen der Lübecker Bucht liegt 
dichtes bis sehr dichtes 10-30 cm dickes Eis, an den 
Küsten offenes Wasser und Neueis, aber in der 
‚nneren Bucht treibt 15-30 cm dickes Eis. Bei 
Wismar dichtes bis kompaktes 15-30 cm dickes Eis. 
in den Rostocker Häfen sehr dichtes bis sehr 
ockeres 5-25 cm dickes Eis. Von Warnemünde bis 
diddensee kommt entlang der Küste dünnes Eis 
oder Neueis vor. 20-30 cm dickes Festeis liegt in 
den inneren Boddengewässern und im Haff, sowie 
an den Küsten des Greifswalder Boddens. Im 
inneren Greifswalder Bodden überwiegend dichtes 
Dis kompaktes 15-40 cm dickes Eis. Im SW-Teil der 
Pommerschen Bucht liegt dichtes 10-20 cm dickes 
Eis und Eisschlamm, das an der Küste zusammen- 
geschoben und leicht aufgepresst ist. - Litauische 
Küste: Im Hafen von Klaipeda und in der Einfahrt 
treibt dichtes bis sehr lockeres dünnes Eis langsam 
NW-wärts. In Fahrwassern offenes Wasser, an der 
Küste liegt sehr lockerer bis lockerer Eisbrei. Das 
Kurische Haff ist mit 48-61 cm dickem Festeis 
vedeckt. - Polnische Küste: Im Stettiner Haff liegt 
20-30 cm dickes Festeis, im Fahrwasser Szczecin — 
Swinoujscie kommt dichtes, zerbrochenes 25-30 cm 
dickes Eis vor. Im Hafen Szezecin sehr dichtes, im 
Hafen Swinoujscie lockeres 15-30 cm dickes Eis. in 
der Pommerschen Bucht im Fahrwasser lockeres 
10-15 cm dickes Eis, welches sich nach Osten bis 
ninter Kolobrzeg erstreckt. In den Häfen entlang der 
Western and Southern Baltic 
Danish Coast: In the harbours of island Bornholm 
there is new ice and ice formation. - German 
Coast: In the Kiel Bight there is open water along 
the coasts, at sea some strips of open ice are 
drifting. The inner fjord of Flensburg is covered with 
5-10 cm thick ice. In the harbours and fjords of the 
Bight of Kiel there is thin ice and new ice, the 
Schlei is covered with 20-25 cm thick ice. In the 
Fehmarnbelt strips of open to close 5-15 cm thick 
ice are drifting, in the Fehmarnsund there is close 
5-15 cm thick ice. In the harbours of the Bay of 
"Lübeck close to very close 10-30 cm thick ice, 
along the coasts open water and new ice, but in the 
inner part 15-30 cm thick ice is drifting. At Wismar 
ihere is close and compact ice, 15-30 cm thick. In 
"he ports of Rostock there is very close to very 
open 5-25 cm thick ice. Along the coast from 
Warnemünde to Hiddensee thin ice or new ice 
occurs. 20-30 cm thick fast ice occurs in the 
Bodden waters and in the Haff as well as along the 
coast of the Greifswalder Bodden. In the inner 
Greifswalder Bodden there is mostly close to 
compact 15-40 cm thick ice. In the southwestern 
part of the Pomeranian Bight close 10-20 cm thick 
‘ce and slush occurs, that is compacted and light 
idged at the coast. - Lithuanian Coast: In the 
harbour of Klaipeda and in the entrance close to 
very open thin ice is drifting slowly northwestwards. 
On the fairways there is open water, along the 
coast there is very open to open shuga. The 
Courland Lagoon is covered with 48-61 cm thick 
“ast ice. - Polish Coast: In Szczecin Lagoon there 
is 20-30 cm thick fast ice; on the fairway Szczecin 
- Swinoujscie there is close broken 25-30 cm thick 
ice. In the port of Szczecin there is very close, in 
the port of SwinoujsScie open 15-30 cm thick ice. In 
the Pomeranian Bight very close, partly rafted 10- 
I5 cm thick ice on the fairway, extending 
eastwards past Kolobrzeg. In the ports along the 
coast there is close to very open up to 15 cm thick
