Übersicht 
in der N-lichen Ostsee verschob sich die Eisgrenze 
S-wärts, sonst haben sich die Eisverhältnisse im 
Ostseeraum seit gestern nicht wesentlich geändert. 
Overview 
In the northern Baltic the ice edge has shifted 
southwards, otherwise, ice conditions in the Baltic 
Sea have not changed very much since yesterday. 
Nordsee 
Dänische Küste: Im Limfjord und bei Ringkebing 
kommt bis über 30cm dickes Festeis vor. - 
Deutsche Küste: Im ostfriesischen Wattenmeer und 
auf Ems kommt örtlich dünnes Eis und Eisschlamm 
vor. Im Nord-Ostsee-Kanal treibt sehr lockeres bis 
sehr dichtes 5-30 cm dickes Eis. Auf der Elbe 
kommt bei Hamburg lockeres 10-15 cm dickes Eis 
vor, bei Stadersand dichtes über 30 cm dickes Eis, 
bei Glückstadt sehr lockeres Neueis, und ab 
3runsbüttel treibt bis Neuwerk lockeres bis sehr 
ockeres 10-30 cm dickes Eis. Im Hafen von 
Duxhaven lockeres 15-30 cm dickes Eis. Im nord- 
riesischen Wattenmeer kommt offenes Wasser oder 
ockeres Eis vor, in den Häfen und geschützten 
3Zereichen liegt auch dichtes bis kompaktes Eis, 15- 
30 dick, stellenweise auch dicker. - 
Niederländische Küste: Im Bereich Eems treiben 
einzelne kleine, 5-10 cm dicke Eisschollen. 
Skagerrak, Kattegat, Belte und Sund 
Das Kattegat ist mit Neueis bedeckt, und im 
Skagerrak treibt N-lich der Line Skagen — Lindesnes 
größtenteils dichtes bis sehr dichtes 5-15 cm dickes 
Eis. 
Dänische Küste: In kleineren Häfen und geschützt 
ijegenden und flachen Küstengewässern kommt 10- 
30 cm dickes Eis vor. An der Nordspitze Jütlands 
treibt sehr lockeres 5-15 cm dickes Eis und Neueis. 
North Sea 
Danish Coast: In the Limfjord and near 
Ringkebing there is up to over 30 cm thick fast ice. 
German Coast: In the Eastfrisian Wadden Sea 
and on Ems there is thin ice and shuga in places. 
On the Kiel Canal there is very open to very close 
5-30 cm thick ice. On the river Elbe open 10-15 cm 
“hick ice occurs in Hamburg, at Stadersand there is 
slose over 30 cm thick ice, at Glückstadt there is 
very open new ice, and from Brunsbüttel to 
Neuwerk there is open to very open 10-30 cm thick 
ice. In Cuxhaven port there is open 15-30 cm thick 
ice. In the Northfrisian Wadden Sea there is open 
water and open ice, but in harbours and sheltered 
regions there is also close to compact ice, 15-30 
cm thick, in places also thicker. - Dutch Coast: In 
the area of Eems some small 5-10 cm thick ice 
‘loes are drifting. 
Skagerrak, Kattegat, Belts and Sound 
The Kattegat is covered by new ice, and in the 
Skagerrak mostly close to very close 5-15 cm thick 
ice is drifting north of the line Skagen — Lindesnes. 
Danish Coast: In small harbours and sheltered 
and shallow coastal waters there is 10-30 cm thick 
ice. At the northern tip of Jutland there is very open 
to close, 5-15 cm thick drift ice and new ice. In the
