Leuchtturm Sommers. Weiter außerhalb liegt sehr 
dichtes 15-30 cm dickes Eis. - Im Berkezund 30- 
45cm dickes Festeis, in der Einfahrt zusammen- 
hängendes 20-35 cm dickes Eis. - In der Copora- 
und Luga Bucht liegt 20-30 cm dickes Festeis, in 
den Einfahrten zusammenhängendes 20-30 cm 
dickes Eis mit etwas dünnerem Eis dazwischen.

Schärenmeer 
In den inneren Schären liegt 20-35 cm dickes Fest-

ebenes Eis, dann zusammengefrorenes Eis bis Utö. 
Bis zur Eisgrenze etwa auf der Linie Almagrundet — 
5 sm S-lich von Suomen Leijona — Glotovi kommt 
dünnes ebenes Eis und Neueis vor. 
Archipelago Sea 
In the inner archipelagos there is 20-35 cm thick 
fast ice, in the outer skerries there is 15-25 cm 
*hick level ice, then consolidated ice to Utö. Farther 
off thin level ice and new ice up to the ice edge at 
about the line Almagrundet -— 5 nm south of 
Suomen Leijona — Glotovi occurs. 
Sea of Äland 
Covered by close 5-10 cm thick drift ice. In the 
archipelagos 10-25 cm thick fast ice or very close 
ice. 
Älandsee 
Bedeckt mit dichtem 5-10 cm dicken Treibeis. In den 
Schären 10-25 cm dickes Festeis oder sehr dichtes 
Eis. 
Bottensee 
im zentralen Teil kommt noch offenes Wasser mit 
Neueisbildung vor, sonst vollständig eisbedeckt. 
Finnische Küste: In den Schären liegt 20-45 cm 
dickes Festeis, außerhalb davon kommt auf etwa 
10-25 sm dünnes ebenes Eis und sehr dichtes 10- 
20 cm dickes Eis vor. - Schwedische Küste: In den 
Schären liegt 20-40 cm dickes Festeis, außerhalb 
davon dünnes ebenes Eis und Neueis. Auf See N- 
lich der Breite 62'NN dichtes 10-30 cm dickes Eis. Im 
S-Teil kommt zwischen Västra Banken und 
Grundkallen dichtes 15-35 cm dickes Eis vor. Von 
Finngrundet bis Älandsee liegt dünnes ebenes Eis. 
Ängermanälv ist mit bis zu 50 cm dickem Festeis 
bedeckt. 
Norra Kvarken 
Auf See meist sehr dichtes und übereinander- 
geschobenes 15-30 cm dickes Eis und dünnes 
sbenes Eis. 
Finnische Küste: Von Vaasa bis Norra Gloppsten 
25-45 cm dickes Festeis. Außerhalb davon bis etwa 
zur Breite von Kaskinen sehr dichtes 10-30 cm 
dickes Eis und Neueis. - Schwedische Küste: W- 
lich von Holmöarna 30-60 cm dickes Festeis, 
außerhalb davon kommt meist sehr dichtes 20-40 
cm dickes Eis mit einigen groben Eisschollen und 
Presseisrücken dazwischen vor. Von Nordvalen N- 
wärts entlang der Küste verläuft eine mit Neueis 
bedeckte Rinne. 
Bottenvik 
Vollständig eisbedeckt. 
Finnische Küste: Die N-lichen Schären sind mit 30- 
50 cm, die S-lichen Schären mit 20-40 cm dickem 
Festeis bedeckt. Außerhalb des Festeises liegt im 
Norden bis zu der Linie Raahe — Nygrän zusammen- 
Sea of Bothnia 
Nearly totally ice covered, only in the central part 
open water with new ice formation. 
Finnish Coast: In the archipelagos there is 20-45 
cm thick fast ice, farther out an approximately 10- 
25 nm wide belt of thin level ice and very close 10- 
20 cm thick ice. - Swedish Coast: In the 
archipelagos there is 20-40 cm thick fast ice, 
farther out thin level ice and new ice. At sea there 
is close 10-30 cm thick ice north of the latitude 
62N. In the southern part there is close 15-35 cm 
thick ice between Västra Banken and Grundkallen. 
-rom Finngrundet to the Sea of Aland there is thin 
level ice. The Ängermanälv is covered with up to 
50 cm thick fast ice.

consolidated, heavily ridged 30-50 cm thick ice
