Leuchtturm Sommers, weiter außerhalb liegt sehr 
dichtes 15-30 cm dickes Eis. - Im Berkezund 30- 
45 cm dickes Festeis, in der Einfahrt zusammen- 
hängendes 20-35 cm dickes Eis. - In der Copora- 
und Luga Bucht liegt 20-30 cm dickes Festeis, in 
den Einfahrten zusammenhängendes 20-30 cm 
dickes, stellenweise auch dünneres, Eis.

thick fast ice, in the entrance there is consolidated 
20-35 cm thick ice. - In the Luga and Copora Bays

Schärenmeer 
In den inneren Schären liegt 20-30 cm dickes Fest- 
eis, in den äußeren Schären 10-20 cm dickes 
ebenes Eis und zusammengefrorenes Eis bis Utö. 
Weiter außerhalb dünnes ebenes Eis und Neueis bis 
etwa Almagrundet - 5 Sm südlich von Suomen 
Leijona -Glotovi. 
Älandsee 
Bedeckt mit 5-10cm dicken Treibeis. In den Schären 
10-25 cm dickes Festeis oder sehr dichtes Eis. 
Archipelago Sea 
In the inner archipelagos there is 20-30 cm thick 
fast ice, in the outer skerries there is 10-20 cm 
thick level ice and consolidated ice to Utö. Farther 
off thin level ice and new ice up to the line 
Almagrundet - 5nm south of Suomen Leijona- 
Glotovi. 
Sea of Äland 
Covered by 5-10cm thick drift ice. In the 
archipelagos 10-25 cm thick fast ice or very close

Bottensee 
Im zentralen Teil kommt noch offenes Wasser mit 
Nleueisbildung vor, ansonsten eisbedeckt. 
Finnische Küste: In den Schären liegt 20-40 cm 
dickes Festeis, außerhalb davon kommt auf etwa 
10-25 Sm dünnes ebenes Eis und 10-20cm dickes, 
sehr dichtes Eis vor. - Schwedische Küste: In den 
Schären liegt 20-40 cm dickes Festeis, außerhalb 
davon dünnes ebenes Eis und Neueis. Auf See 
treibt N-lich von 62°N dichtes 10-30 cm dickes Eis 
sowie Eisbrei und Neueis. Im Süden liegt bis 35cm 
dickes, dichtes Eis zwischen Hallgrund und Unders 
und südlich von Finngrundet treibt dünnes lockeres 
Eis und Neueis. Der Ängermanälv ist mit bis zu 50 
cm dickem Festeis bedeckt. 
Norra Kvarken 
Auf See meist sehr dichtes, übereinandergescho- 
benes 10-30 cm dickes Eis und dünnes ebenes Eis. 
Finnische Küste: Von Vaasa bis Norra Gloppsten 
25-45 cm dickes Festeis. Außerhalb davon bis etwa 
zur Breite von Kaskinen dichtes 10-30 cm dickes Eis 
und Neueis. - Schwedische Küste: W-lich von 
YHolmöarna 30-60 cm dickes Festeis, außerhalb 
davon kommt meist sehr dichtes 20-40 cm dickes 
Eis mit einigen groben Eisschollen und Presseis- 
‚ücken vor. O-lich von Holmöarna und N-lich 
Valsorana kommen kleinere mit Neueis bedeckte 
Gebiete vor. 
Bottenvik 
Vollständig eisbedeckt. 
Finnische Küste: Die nördlichen Schären sind mit 
30-60 cm, die südlichen Schären mit 20-40 cm 
dickem Festeis bedeckt. Außerhalb des Festeises 
ılegt im Norden bis zu der Linie Raahe —- Nygrän zu- 
sammenhängendes, stark aufgepresstes 30-50 cm 
diekes Eis. Von Merikallat nach Nahkiainen ebenes 
Sea of Bothnia 
Almost ice covered, only in the central part open 
water with new ice formation. Finnish Coast: In 
the archipelagos there is 20-40 cm thick fast ice, 
farther out an approximately 10-25 nm wide belt of 
thin level ice and 10-20cm thick very close ice. - 
Swedish Coast: In the archipelagos there is 20-40 
zm thick fast ice, farther out thin level ice and new 
ice. At sea there is close 10-30 cm thick ice north 
af 62°N together with shuga and new ice. In the 
south there is up to 35cm thick close drift ice from 
Hallgrund to Unders, south of Tngrundet there is 
hin open ice and new ice, The Angermanälv is 
covered with up to 50 em thick fast ice. 
Norra Kvarken
