Älandsee

dichtes Eis., auf See Neueis. 
Sea of Äland 
ın the archipelagos 10-25 cm thick fast ice or very 
close ice. At sea new ice occurs. 
Schärenmeer 
In den inneren Schären liegt 20-30 cm dickes Fest- 
eis, in den äußeren Schären 10-20 cm dickes 
ebenes Eis. Weiter außerhalb zusammengefrorenes 
dünnes Eis bis Ut6, dann Neueis bis Suomen 
Leijona Leuchtturm. 
Archipelago Sea 
In the inner archipelagos there is 20-30 cm thick 
fast ice. In the outer skerries there is 10-20 cm 
thick level ice and new ice. Farther out there is 
consolidated thin ice to Ut6, then new ice to 
Suomen Leijona lighthouse. 
Sea of Bothnia 
Finnish Coast: In the archipelagos there is 15-40 
cm thick fast ice, farther out an approximately 10- 
20 nm wide belt of close thin ice and new ice. - 
Swedish Coast: In the archipelagos there is 20-40 
cm thick fast ice, farther out thin level ice and new 
ice. At sea there is close 10-30 cm thick ice north 
of Härnösand. In the Gävle Bight there is thin level 
ice along the coast, farther out between Hällgrund 
and Grundkallen a belt of close 10-35 cm thick ice. 
Around Finngrundet new ice and ice formation 
occurs. The Angermanälv is covered with up to 50 
cm thick fast ice. 
Bottensee 
Finnische Küste: In den Schären liegt 15-40 cm 
dickes Festeis, außerhalb davon kommt auf etwa 
10-20 sm dichtes dünnes Eis und Neueis vor. - 
Schwedische Küste: In den Schären liegt 20-40 cm 
dickes Festeis, außerhalb davon dünnes ebenes Eis 
nd Neueis. Auf See N-lich von Härnösand dichtes 
10-30 cm dickes Eis. In der Gävlebucht dünnes 
ebenes Eis entlang der Küste, weiter außerhalb 
zwischen Hällgrund und Grundkallen ein Gürtel mit 
dichtem 10-35 cm dicken Eis. In der Umgebung von 
Finngrundet MNeueis und Eisbildung. Der 
Ängermanälv ist mit bis zu 50 cm dickem Festeis 
bedeckt. 
Norra Kvarken 
Auf See meist sehr dichtes, übereinandergescho- 
benes 10-30 cm dickes Eis und Neueis. 
Finnische Küste: Von Vaasa bis Norra Gloppsten 
25-45 cm dickes Festeis. Außerhalb davon bis etwa 
zur Breite von Kaskinen dichtes 5-20 cm dickes Eis 
und Neueis. - Schwedische Küste: W-lich von 
Holmöarna 20-50 cm dickes Festeis, außerhalb 
davon kommt dichtes bis sehr dichtes bis zu 30 cm 
dickes Eis mit einigen Presseisrücken in der 
Umgebung von Odelgrund vor. 
Bottenvik 
Vollständig eisbedeckt. 
Finnische Küste: Die nördlichen Schären sind mit 
30-60 cm, die südlichen Schären mit 20-40 cm 
dickem Festeis bedeckt. Außerhalb des Festeises 
liegt im Norden bis zu der Linie Raahe — Nygrän zu- 
sammenhängendes, stark aufgepresstes 25-50 cm 
dickes Eis. Von Merikallat bis Nahkiainen ebenes 
Eis. Sonst kommt sehr dichtes, übereinanderge- 
schobenes und teilweise aufgepresstes 10-40 cm 
dickes Eis vor. - Schwedische Küste: In den N- 
lichen inneren Schären 25-50 cm dickes Festeis. Auf 
See liegt im Norden zusammenhängendes, bis zu 
50 cm dickes Eis. N-lich der Breite 65 N kommen 
schwierige Presseisrücken vor. In der Bucht von 
Skelleftea 15-40 cm dickes ebenes Eis. Im S-Teil 
wechselweise lockeres und dichtes 10-30 cm dickes 
Eis mit einigen gröberen Schollen und 
Presseisrücken E-lich von Rata Storgrund. 
Norra Kvarken

and new ice.
