Übersicht 
im W-Teil des Finnischen Meerbusens und in der 
3ottensee hat das Eis etwas zugenommen, sonst 
ı1at sich die Eislage seit gestern nicht wesentlich 
verändert. 
Overview 
In the western part of the Gulf of Finland and in 
Sea of Bothnia ice has somewhat increased, else, 
ice situation has not changed very much since 
yesterday. 
- Eisklasse IC wird für die Schifffahrt in den 
\orwegischen Gewässern (Fahrwassern) 
empfohlen. 
Nordsee 
Dänische Küste: Im Limfjord und bei Ringkebing 
kommt bis über 30cm dickes Festeis vor. - 
Deutsche Küste: Im MNord-Ostsee-Kanal sehr 
ockeres bis sehr dichtes 5-30 cm dickes Eis. Auf 
der Elbe dichtes bis sehr dichtes 10-30 cm dickes 
Eis zwischen Hamburg und Stadersand, Neueis bei 
Glückstadt und ab Brunsbüttel bis Neuwerk lockeres 
bis sehr lockeres 10-30 cm dickes Eis. Im Hafen von 
Duxhaven dichtes 15-30 cm dickes Eis. Im nord- 
'riesischen Wattenmeer kommt offenes Wasser oder 
ockeres Eis vor, in den Häfen und geschützten 
3Zereichen liegt auch dichtes bis kompaktes 15-30 
cm dickes Eis. 
- Ice Class IC is recommended for navigation in the 
Norwegian waters (fairways) 
North Sea 
Danish Coast: In the Limfjord and near 
Ringkebing there is up to over 30 cm thick fast ice. 
- German Coast: On the Kiel Canal there is very 
open to very close 5-30 cm thick ice. On the river 
Elbe close to very close 10-30 cm thick ice occurs 
between Hamburg and Stadersand, at Glückstadt 
there is new ice and from Brunsbüttel to Neuwerk 
there is open to very open 10-30 cm thick ice. In 
Cuxhaven port there is close 15-30 cm thick ice. In 
the Northfrisian Wadden Sea there is open water or 
very open ice, but in harbours and sheltered 
regions there is also close to compact 15-30 cm 
thick ice. 
Skagerrak, Kattegat, Belte und Sund 
Dänische Küste: In kleineren Häfen und geschützt 
‘liegenden und flachen Küstengewässern kommt 10- 
30 cm dickes Eis vor. An der Nordspitze Jütlands 
treibt sehr lockeres 5-15 cm dickes Eis und Neueis. 
In den Belten und im Sund kommt offenes Wasser 
/or, vor der Küste treibt Neueis und stellenweise 
ockeres 5-10 cm dickes Eis. - Norwegische Küste: 
Im Fahrwasser nach Kristiansand und im Oslofiord 
Skagerrak, Kattegat, Belts and Sound 
Danish Coast: In small harbours and sheltered 
and shallow coastal waters there is 10-30 cm thick 
ice. At the northern tip of Jutland there is very open 
to close, 5-15 cm thick drift ice and new ice. In the 
Belts and the Sound there is open water, outside 
he coast new ice and open 5-10 cm thick ice is 
drifting. - Norwegian Coast: On the fairway to 
Kristiansand and in the Oslofiord there is open
