liegt dichtes dünnes Eis, im Fahrwasser Szezecin — 
Swinoujscie treibt lockeres dünnes Eis, 
Swinoujscie there is open thin ice. In Szczecin 
Lagoon there is close thin ice, on the fairway 
Szczecin — Swinoujscie open thin ice is drifting. 
Mittlere und Nördliche Ostsee 
Lettische Küste: Im Hafen Ventspils kommt 
dichter dunkler Nilas vor. - Schwedische Küste: 
Mälarsee: Im Westteil liegt 5-15 cm dickes Festeis. 
Vänernsee: In den inneren nördlichen Schären 
liegt 5-15 cm dickes Festeis. 
Rigaischer Meerbusen 
Estnische Küste: In der Pärnubucht erstreckt sich 
entlang der Küste etwa 10 km breiter 10-15 cm 
dicker Festeissaum. Weiter außerhalb kommt bis zur 
Breite von Kihnu Neueis vor. Im Moonsund liegt 5- 
15 cm dickes zusammengeschobenes Eis. - 
Lettische Küste: Im Hafen Riga, entlang der Küste 
und in der Irbenstraße tritt örtlich sehr lockeres Eis 
auf. Alle Fahrwasser sind noch eisfrei. 
Central and Northern Baltic 
Latvian Coast: In the port of Ventspils there is 
close dark nilas. - Swedish coast: - Lake 
Mälaren: In the western part there is 5-15 cm thick 
fast ice. Lake Vänern: In the inner northern 
archipelagoes there is 5-15 cm thick fast ice. 
Gulf of Riga 
Estonian Coast: In the Pärnu Bay there is about 
10 km wide 10-15 cm thick fast ice along the coast. 
Farther out there is new ice up to the longitude of 
the island Kihnu. In Moonsund there is 5-15 cm 
thick compact ice. - Latvian Coast: Very open ice 
is present in the harbour of Riga, along the coast 
and in the Irben Strait in places. The fairways are 
still ice-free. 
Finnischer Meerbusen 
Estnische Küste: In Küstennähe treibt in der 
Narvabucht dichtes Eis und in der Kunda und 
Muugabucht sehr lockeres Eis. - Finnische Küste: 
in den inneren Schären liegt Neueis, außerhalb 
Kotka und Hamina kommt 2-15 cm dickes ebenes 
Eis, Neueis und Eisbildung vor. Saimaasee: Im 
Nordteil liegt 15-20 cm dickes, im Südteil und im 
Kanal 5-15 cm dickes Eis. - Russische Küste: In 
den Häfen von St. Petersburg liegt zusammen- 
geschobenes, 10-15 cm dickes Eis. Weiter 
westwärts kommt im Fahrwasser bis zur Länge von 
Kotlin 10-20 cm dickes Festeis, dann bis zur Länge 
des Leuchtturms Krasnaja Gorka zusammen- und 
aufeinandergeschobenes 10-20 cm dickes Eis vor. 
Anschließend treten bis zur Länge von Kap Seraja 
Loshad‘ dunkler Nilas und Neueis auf. - Die innere 
Vyborgbucht ist mit 10-15 cm dickem Festeis 
bedeckt. Außerhalb davon liegt zwischen der Breite 
der Insel Krepysh und der Halbinsel Kiperort 
zusammengeschobenes 10-15 cm dickes Eis. 
Weiter bis zur Breite 6026‘ N kommt dunkler Nilas 
und Neueis vor. - Im Berkezund liegt 10-15 cm 
dickes zusammengeschobenes, zusammenhängen- 
des Eis sowie Neueis. - In der Copora und Luga 
Bucht, sowie in der Einfahrt zur Ligabucht tritt 
dunkler Nilas und Neueis auf. 
Schärenmeer 
In den inneren Schären kommt dünnes Eis oder 
Neueis vor. 
Gulf of Finland 
Estonian Coast: In the Narva bay there is close 
ice near the coast. Very open ice is drifting near the 
coast in the Kunda and Muuga Bights. - Finnish 
Coast: In the inner archipelagos there is new ice, 
off Kotka and Hamina there is 2-15 cm thick level 
ice, new ice and ice formation. Lake Saimaa: In 
the northern part there is 15-20 cm thick ice, in the 
southern part and in the Canal there 5-15 cm thick 
ice. - Russian Coast: In the harbours of St. 
Petersburg there is compact 10-15 cm thick ice. 
Farther westwards on the fairway 10-20 cm thick fast 
ce occurs to the longitude of Kotlin, then compact 
afted 10-20 cm thick ice occurs to the longitude of 
the lighthouse Krasnaja Gorka. Farther out there is 
new ice and dark nilas up to the longitude of Cape 
Seraja Loshad’. - The inner Vyborg Bay is covered 
with 10-15 cm thick fast ice. Farther out there is 10- 
!5 cm thick compact ice between the latitudes of 
'sland Krepysh and peninsula Kiperort. Still farther 
out there is dark nilas and new ice up to the latitude 
6026’ N. - In Berkezund there is 10-15 cm thick 
consolidated compact ice as well as new ice. - In 
the Copora Bay and Luga Bay as well as in the 
entrance to the Luga Bay there is dark nilas and 
new ice. 
Archipelago Sea 
In the inner archipelagos there is thin ice or new 
ice 
Bottensee 
Finnische Küste: In den inneren Schären liegt 
dünnes Eis oder Neueis. - Schwedische Küste: Im 
nördlichen Teil kommt in einigen geschützten 
Buchten dünnes ebenes Eis und Neueis vor. Auf 
dem Ängermanälv liegt nördlich der Sandöbrücke 5- 
15 cm dickes Festeis, weiter südlich bis Storfjarden 
kommt sehr dichtes dünnes Eis vor. 
Sea of Bothnia 
Finnish Coast: In the inner archipelagos there is 
thin ice or new ice. - Swedish Coast: In the 
northern part thin level ice and new ice occur is 
some sheltered bays. On the Angermanälv there is 
5-15 thick fast ice north of the Sandö Bridge, 
farther south to Storfjarden very close thin ice 
OCCUrS.
