bedeutende Mengen Eis auf. Vor der Küste treiben 
stellenweise Streifen mit Eis, die nur von stärkeren 
Schiffen mit Eisklasse durchfahren werden können. 
Im Hafen von Oslo kommt stellenweise 5-10 cm 
dickes dichtes Eis vor. Eis vor. In vielen Fjorden 
entlang der Küste liegt dichtes bis kompaktes 5-30 
cm dickes Eis und bis zu 50cm dickes Festeis. 
Westlich des Bereichs Arendal kommt bei Lillesand 
offenes Wasser vor. - Schwedische Küste: In den 
Schären und geschützten Buchten kommt 10-25cm 
dickes Festeis vor. Im Skagerrak treibt auf See 
dichtes, bis zu 15cm dickes Eis. Entlang der 
gesamten Küste Neueis. 
Westliche und Südliche Ostsee 
Deutsche Küste: In den Häfen, Förden und inneren 
Fahrwassern der Kieler und Mecklenburger Bucht 
liegt 10-25 cm dickes Festeis, dünnes Eis oder 
Neueis. Die Boddengewässer und das Haff sind mit 
15-30 cm dicken Festeis bedeckt. In der Pommer- 
schen Bucht kommt im SE-Teil dichtes 10-15 cm 
dickes Eis vor, an den Küsten offenes Wasser und 
sehr lockeres Eis. - Dänische Küste: Bei Bornholm 
kommt Neueis vor. - Litauische Küste: Im Hafen 
von Klaipeda treibt dichter, in der Einfahrt lockerer 
Eisbrei und dunkler Nilas. In den Fahrwassern meist 
offenes Wasser, dicht an der Küste liegt sehr dichter 
Eisbrei. Das Kurische Haff ist mit 40-60 cm dickem 
Festeis bedeckt. - Polnische Küste: Im Stettiner 
aff liegt 30-50 cm dickes Festeis, im Fahrwasser 
Szczecin —- SwinoujScie kommt sehr dichtes Eis vor, 
20-50 cm, übereinandergeschoben teilweise bis 
70cm dick. Im Hafen Szczecin sehr dichtes 15-30 
cm dickes Eis, im Hafen SwinoujsScie dichtes 15- 
30 cm dickes Eis, in der Pommerschen Bucht im 
Fahrwasser sehr lockeres Eis. In allen Häfen 
entlang der Küste sehr lockeres bis dichtes, bis 15 
cm dickes Eis. In der Gdansker Bucht tritt verbreitet 
Neueis auf. Schwedische Küste: Im Öresund 
kommt kompaktes dünnes Eis vor. 
Mittlere und Nördliche Ostsee 
Estnische Küste: Vor der Küste von Saaremaa und 
Hiumaa liegt etwa 5-10cm dickes, dichtes Eis. 
Schwedische Küste: In den inneren Stockholmer 
Schären liegt 10-20 cm dickes Festeis Weiter S-lich 
‚jegt in den Schären bis Kalmarsund und in den 
Schären von Karlskrona 10-30 cm dickes Festeis. 
Entlang der Küste kommt lockeres dünnes Eis und 
Eisbrei und Eisbildung vor. Eis bildet sich auch um 
Gotland Mälarsee: Mit 10-30 cm dickem Festeis 
bedeckt. Vänernsee: In den nördlichen Schären, 
Vänersborgsviken und Kinneviken 10-35 cm dickes 
Festeis. In den Schären von Lurö 5-20 cm dickes 
Eis, Im Dalbosjön kommt bis zu 20cm dickes ebenes 
Eis und sehr dichtes Eis vor. - Lettische Küste: Im 
Aafen Ventspils kommt sehr lockeres, 5-10cm 
dickes Eis vor. Im Hafen von Liepaja sehr dichtes 
Eis, weiter südlich treibt im Fahrwasser sehr dichtes 
Eis.

Western and Southern Baltic 
German Coast: In the harbours, fjords and inner 
fairways of the Bights of Kiel and Mecklenburg 
there is 10-25 cm thick fast ice, thin ice or new ice. 
The Bodden waters and the Haff are covered with 
15-30 cm thick fast ice. In the Pomeranian Bight 
close 10-15 cm thick ice occurs in the southeastern 
Dart, at the coast open water and very open ice. 
Danish Coast: At Bornholm there is new ice. - 
Lithuanian Coast: In the harbour of Klaipeda there 
is open, in the entrance close shuga and dark nilas. 
On the fairways mostly open water, near the coast 
there is very close shuga. The Courland Lagoon is 
covered with 40-60 cm thick fast ice. - Polish 
Coast: In Szczecin Lagoon there is 30-50 cm thick 
fast ice; on the fairway Szczecin — Swinoujscie 
there is very close ice, 20-50ccm thick, if rafted 
also up to 70cm thick. In the port of Szczecin there 
is very close 15-30 cm thick ice, in the port of 
Swinoujscie there is close 15-30 cm thick ice. In 
the Pomeranian Bight very open ice in the fairway. 
In all ports along the coast there is very open to 
close, up to 15 cm thick ice. In the Bight of Gdansk 
there is new ice. Swedish coast: In the Öresund 
thin compact ice occurs. 
Central and Northern Baltic 
Estonian Coast: Off the coast of Saaremaa and 
Hiiumaa there is about 5-10cm thick close ice. 
Swedish coast: In the inner part of the Stockholm 
archipelago there is 10-20 cm thick fast ice. In the 
archipelagos farther south to the Kalmarsund as 
well as in the archipelagos of Karlskrona there is 
10-30 cm thick fast ice. Along the coast there is 
thin open ice, shuga and new ice formation. Ice is 
also forming around Gotland.. Lake Mälaren: 
Covered with 10-30 cm thick fast ice. Lake 
Vänern: In the inner northern archipelagos and in 
Vänersborgsviken there is 10-35 cm thick fast ice. 
In the archipelago of Lurö there is 5-20 cm thick 
ice. In the Dalbosjön there is up to 20cm thick level 
ice and very close ice. - Latvian Coast: In the port 
of Ventspils there is very open , 5-10cm thick ice. 
In the port of Liepaja very close ice, farther out in 
the fairway to the south there is very close ice.
