Übersicht 
In der N-lichen Bottenvik und an der N-Küste des 
Finnischen Meerbusens kommt es zu starken 
Eispressungen. Das Eisfeld in der Pommerschen 
3ucht hat sich E-wärts verlagert. 
Nordsee 
Niederländische Küste: Im Bereich Eems 
zwischen Oterdum und Huibertgat treiben einzelne 
kleine 5-10cm dicke Eisschollen. - Dänische 
Küste: In Häfen und geschützten Gebieten kommt 
10-15 cm dickes, vereinzelt auch 30 cm dickes Eis 
‚or. Im Ringkebing Fjord ist bei über 15 cm dicken 
Festeis die Schifffahrt eingestellt. - Deutsche 
Küste: Im geschützten Bereichen des ostfriesischen 
Wattenmeer kommt sehr lockeres dünnes Eis vor. 
Auf der Ems und Weser dünnes Eis und Neueis. Im 
Nord-Ostsee-Kanal kommt lockeres bis dichtes 5-15 
cm dickes Eis vor. Auf der Elbe liegt zwischen 
Hamburg und Stadersand dichtes bis kompaktes 15- 
30 cm dickes Eis, weiter bis Cuxhaven treibt 
ockeres bis dichtes 5-10cm dickes Eis. Im 
1ordfriesischen Wattenmeer lockeres 5-10 cm 
dickes Eis, in den Häfen und geschützten Bereichen 
liegt dichtes bis kompaktes 5-30 cm dickes Eis. 
Skagerrak, Kattegat und Öresund 
Dänische Küste: In kleineren Häfen und geschützt 
‚jegenden und flachen Küstengewässern kommt 10- 
30 cm dickes Eis vor. Im Fehmarnbelt treibt vor der 
x«üste Eis. - Norwegische Küste: Auf dem 
Fahrwasser nach Oslo tritt stellenweise Neueis und 
Eisbrei auf. Im Hafen von Oslo kommt lockeres Eis 
vor. In vielen Fjorden entlang der Küste liegt dichtes

Strong Ice pressure occurs in the northern part of 
the Bay of Bothnia and off the northern coast of the 
Gulf of Finland. The ice field in the Pomeranian 
Bight has drifted eastwards. 
North Sea 
Dutch Coast: In the area of Eems between 
Oterdum and Huibertgat some small 5-10 cm thick 
ice floes are drifting. - Danish Coast: 10-15 cm 
‘hick ice, in some places also 30 cm thick, is 
present in harbours and sheltered regions. In the 
Ringkebing fjord there is over 15 cm thick fast ice 
and navigation is temporarily closed. - German 
Coast: In sheltered regions off the Eastfrisian 
Wadden Sea very open thin ice occurs. There is 
hin ice and new ice on the Ems and Weser. On the 
Kiel Channel there is open to close ice 5-15 cm 
'hick Ice. On the river Elbe there is close to 
sompact 15-30 cm thick ice between the harbours 
af Hamburg and Stadersand; then close to open 5- 
10 cm thick ice to Cuxhaven. In the Northfrisian 
Wadden Sea there is open 5-10 cm thick ice, in 
most harbours and sheltered areas there is very 
close to compact 5-30 cm thick ice. 
Skagerrak, Kattegat and Öresund 
Danish Coast: In small harbours and sheltered 
and shallow coastal waters there is 10-30 cm thick 
ice. In the Fehmarn belt there is ice drifting outside 
the coast. - Norwegian Coast: On the fairway to 
Oslo ice new ice and shuga occurs in places. In the 
port of Oslo there is open ice. In many fjords along 
the coast there is close to compact. 5-30 em thick
