Schären und bis hin zu Kemi-3, sowie außerhalb 
Qulus bis Liberta liegt 5-20 cm dickes Festeis oder 
ebenes Eis. Am Eisrand liegt eine Trümmereis- 
barriere. In den mittleren und südlichen Schären 
kommt dünnes ebenes Eis und Neueis vor. - 
Schwedische Küste: In den nördlichen inneren 
Schären liegt 10-20 cm dickes Festeis. In den 
äußeren Schären liegt 5-15cm dickes, dichtes oder 
ebenes Eis sowie Neueis. Im Norden erstreckt sich 
zwischen der Einfahrt nach Karlsborg und 
Jlikokrunni ein Band mit 10-20cm dickem, 
zusammen- und teilweise aufeinandergeschobenem 
Eis.

archipelago of the middle and southern part there 
is thin level ice and new ice. - Swedish Coast: In 
the northern inner archipelagos there is 10-20 cm 
thick fast ice. In the outer archipelago 5-15cm thick 
close or level ice, as well as new ice occurs. In the 
north a band with 10-20cm thick consolidated and 
partly ridged ice streiches between the entrance to 
Karlsborg and Ulkokrunni. 
Voraussichtliche Eisentwicklung 
Bis morgen ist, besonders im nördlichen und 
östlichen Ostseeraum, mit weiter andauernder 
Eisbildung zu rechnen. Zum Mittwoch hin wird sich 
die Neueisbildung im mittleren Ostseeraum dann 
verlangsamen und im südlichen und westlichen 
3Zereich kommt die Neueisbildung komplett zum 
Erliegen, dort wird das Eis eher etwas abnehmen. In 
der Bottenvik werden Winde aus Ost bis Südost das 
Eis außerhalb der finnischen Schären etwas 
auflockern und westwärts treiben. 
Expected Ice Development 
Until tomorrow the ice formation will continue, 
especially in the northern and eastern part of the 
Baltic region. Towards Wednesday the ice 
‘“ormation will slow down in the middle and eastern 
part of the Baltic region, more so in the southern 
and western part were ice formation will cease 
completely and the ice will rather decrease. In the 
Bay of Bothnia the wind will predominantly blow out 
of easterly to south-easterly directions, so that the 
ice outside the Finnish archipelagos will loosen and 
slowly drift westwards.
