Information of the Icebreaker Services 
Estonia 
Icebreaker: EVA-316 is assisting to Pärnu Bay, no service for tugs and barges. TARMO assists to Kunda Bay. 
Finland 
The Saimaa Canal was closed for traffic on Sunday, the 24” January. 
Icebreaker: KONTIO and OTSO assist in the northern Bay of Bothnia and URHO in the central Bay of 
Bothnia. FENNICA assists in the southern Bay of Bothnia. SISU assists in the central Gulf of Finland and 
VOIMA in the eastern Gulf of Finland. 
Germany 
The northern approach to Stralsund, the southern Peenestrom and Kleines Haff are closed for navigation. Only 
daytime navigation is allowed to Stralsund. 
Icebreaker: ARKONA, GÖRMITZ and RANZOW are assisting in the eastern approach to Stralsund, on the 
1orthern Peenestrom and in the Greifswalder Bodden. FAIRPLAY-7 assists in Wismar harbour, ROSENORT 
N Rostock and HOOGE in Husum harbour. NORDSTRAND assists in Eckernförde harbour. In the port of 
damburg the ice is being broken and ships are assisted if necessary.
