Küste Eis. - Norwegische Küste: Auf dem 
Fahrwasser nach Oslo tritt stellenweise Neueis und 
Eisbrei auf. Im Hafen von Oslo kommt lockeres Eis 
vor. In vielen Fjorden entlang der Küste liegt dichtes 
bis kompaktes 5-30 cm dickes Eis und bis zu 50 cm 
dickes Festeis. Westlich des Bereichs Arendal 
kommt bei Lillesand offenes Wasser vor. - 
Schwedische Küste: In den Schären N-lich von 
Göteborg kommt dünnes Festeis vor. Auf See 
kommt nördlich von Mäseskär und im Öresund 
Neueis vor.

Oslo ice new ice and shuga occurs in places. In the 
port of Oslo there is open ice. In many fjords along 
the coast there is close to compact, 5-30 cm thick 
ice and up to 50 cm thick fast ice. To the west of 
the Arendal region there is open water at Lillesand. 
Swedish Coast: in the archipelagos north of 
Gothenburg there is thin fast ice. At sea north of 
Mäseskär and in Öresund there is new ice. 
Westliche und Südliche Ostsee 
Deutsche Küste: In den Häfen, Förden und inneren 
Fahrwassern der Kieler und Mecklenburger Bucht 
liegt 10-25 cm dickes Festeis, dünnes Eis oder 
Neueis. Die Boddengewässer S-lich von Darß und 
Zingst sind mit 15-25 cm dickem Eis bedeckt. An 
den Außenküsten der Insel Rügen und Usedom liegt 
stellenweise Festeis und sehr dichtes 10-15 cm 
dickes Eis. Die Boddengewässer im Vorpommern, 
der Peenestrom und das Kleines Haff sind mit 15-30 
cm dicken Festeis bedeckt. In der Pommerschen 
Bucht kommt dichtes bis kompaktes 10-15 cm 
dickes Eis vor. - Litauische Küste: Im Hafen von 
Klaipeda dichter, in der Einfahrt lockerer Eisbrei und 
Pfannkucheneis. In den Fahrwassern kommt dichtes 
dünnes Eis und Neueis vor. Das Kurische Haff ist 
mit 40-50 cm dickem Festeis bedeckt. - Polnische 
Küste: Im Stettiner Haff liegt 20-30 cm dickes 
Festeis, im Fahrwasser Szczecin — Swinoujscie 
kommt sehr dichtes, bis zu 25 cm dickes Trümmer- 
eis vor. Im Hafen Szczecin sehr dichtes 15-30 cm 
dickes Eis, im Hafen Swinoujscie sehr lockeres 15- 
30cm dickes Eis, in der Pommerschen Bucht 
kommt 2 sm nördlich von Swinoujscie dichtes 10-15 
cm dickes Eis. In allen Häfen entlang der Küste sehr 
lockeres bis dichtes, bis 15 cm dickes Eis. In der 
Gdansker Bucht tritt verbreitet Neueis auf. 
Mittlere und Nördliche Ostsee 
Schwedische Küste: In den inneren Stockholmer 
Schären liegt 10-20 cm dickes Festeis, weiter 
außerhalb meist dünnes. Weiter S-lich kommt in den 
Schären bis Kalmarsund und den Schären von 
Karlskrona 10-30 cm dickes Festeis, dünnes ebenes 
Eis oder Neueis vor. Mälarsee: Mit 10-30 cm dickem 
Festeis bedeckt. Vänernsee: In den nördlichen 
Schären, Vänersborgsviken und Kinneviken 10- 
35 cm dickes Festeis. In den Schären von Lurö 5-20 
cm dickes Eis. Neueis im S-lichen Teil von 
Varmlandssjön und in Dalbosjön. - Lettische Küste: 
Jer Hafen Ventspils ist mit dichtem hellen Nilas 
bedeckt, im Fahrwasser nach Liepaja liegt dichtes 
Eis. Im Hafen von Liepaja kompaktes Eis, weiter 
südlich treibt im Fahrwasser lockeres Eis. Entlang 
der gesamten Küste liegt ein etwa 30 km breiter 
Streifen mit dünnem Eis. 
Western and Southern Baltic 
German Coast: In the harbours, fjords and inner 
fairways of the Bights of Kiel and Mecklenburg 
there is 10-25 cm thick fast ice, thin ice or new ice. 
The Bodden waters south of Darß and Zingst are 
covered by 15-25 cm thick ice. On the outer coasts 
of the islands Rügen and Usedom there is partly 
fast ice and very close 10-15 cm thick ice. The 
Bodden waters of Vorpommern, the Peenestrom 
and Kleines Haff are covered with 15-30 cm thick 
fast ice. In the Pomeranian Bight close to compact 
10-15 cm thick ice occurs. - Lithuanian Coast: In 
the harbour of Klaipeda there is close shuga and 
bancake ice, in the entrance open shuga and 
Yancake ice. On the fairways there is close thin ice 
and new ice. The Courland Lagoon is covered with 
40-50 cm thick fast ice. - Polish Coast: In 
Szczecin Lagoon there is 20-30 cm thick fast ice; 
an the fairway Szczecin —- SwinoujScie there is very 
close broken, up to 25 cm thick brash ice. In the 
Jort of Szczecin there is very close 15-30 cm thick 
ice, in the port of SwinoujScie there is very open 
15-30 cm thick ice, in the Pomeranian Bight 2 nm 
north of Swinoujscie close 10-15 cm thick ice 
occurs. In all ports along the coast there is very 
open to close, up to 15 cm thick ice. In the Bight of 
Gdansk there is new ice. 
Central and Northern Baltic 
Swedish coast: In the inner part of the Stockholm 
archipelago there is 10-20 cm thick fast ice, farther 
out there is mostly thin ice. In the archipelagos 
farther south to the Kalmarsund as well as in the 
archipelagos of Karlskrona there is 10-30 cm thick 
fast ice, thin level ice or new ice. Lake Mälaren: 
Covered with 10-30 cm thick fast ice. Lake 
Vänern: In the inner northern archipelagos and in 
Vänersborgsviken there is 10-35 cm thick fast ice. 
in the archipelago of Lurö there is 5-20 cm thick 
ce. New ice is found in the southern part of 
Varmlandssjön and in the Dalbosjön. - Latvian 
Coast: The port of Ventspils is covered by close 
light Nilas. Close ice is drifting on the fairway to 
Liepaja. In the port of Liepaja compact ice, farther 
out in the fairway to the south there is open ice. 
Along the whole coast there is an about 30 km 
wide belt with thin ice.
