Übersicht 
In allen Ostseebereichen hat das Eis zugenommen. 
in der Bottenvik kommt es im Norden zu ersten 
leichten Eispressungen. 
Overview 
In all regions of the Baltic Sea ice increase 
continued. Ice pressure is building up in the north 
of the Bay of Bothnia. 
North Sea 
Danish Coast: 10-15 cm thick ice, in some places 
also 30 cm thick, is present in harbours and 
sheltered regions. In the Ringkeobing fjord there is 
over 15 cm thick fast ice and navigation is 
temporarily closed. - German Coast: In sheltered 
regions off the Eastfrisian Wadden Sea open to 
compact thin ice and new ice occurs. There is new 
ice on the Ems and Weser and near 
Wilhelmshaven there is open, partly rafted, 5-10cm 
thick ice. On the Kiel Channel there is new ice and 
very open to close ice, about 15cm thick. On the 
river Elbe there is 15-30 cm thick, open to compact 
ice between the harbours of Hamburg and 
Stadersand; then close to open 5-10 cm thick ice to 
Cuxhaven and new ice up to Neuwerk. In 
Cuxhaven port very close 5-10cm thick ice. In the 
Northfrisian Wadden Sea there is very open to 
apen 5-10cm thick ice, in most harbours there is 
very close to compact 5-20 cm thick ice and new 
ice. 
Nordsee 
Dänische Küste: In Häfen und geschützten 
aebieten kommt 10-15 cm dickes, vereinzelt auch 
30 cm dickes Eis vor. Im Ringkebing Fjord ist bei 
über 15 cm dicken Festeis die Schifffahrt eingestellt. 
Deutsche Küste: Im geschützten Bereichen des 
ostfriesischen Wattenmeer kommt lockeres bis 
xompaktes, dünnes eis vor. Auf der Ems und Weser 
<ommt dünnes Eis und MNeueis vor. Bei 
Nilhelmshaven liegt lockeres, 5-10cm dickes Eis, 
leilweise übereinandergeschoben. Im Nordostsee- 
<anal kommt, etwa 15cm dickes, sehr lockeres bis 
dichtes Eis vor. Auf der Elbe liegt zwischen 
Hamburg und Stadersand lockeres bis kompaktes 
15-30 cm dickes Eis, weiter bis Cuxhaven treibt 
ockeres bis dichtes 5-10 cm dickes Eis und weiter 
außerhalb kommt bis Neuwerk Neueis vor. Im Hafen 
von Cuxhaven liegt sehr dichtes, 5-10cm dickes Eis. 
Im nordfriesischen Wattenmeer kommt sehr 
ockeres bis lockeres, 5-10cm dickes Eis vor, in den 
däfen liegt dichtes bis kompaktes 5-30cm dickes 
EIS. 
Skagerrak und Kattegat 
Dänische Küste: In kleineren Häfen und geschützt 
jegenden und flachen Küstengewässern kommt 10- 
30 cm dickes Eis vor. Im Fehmarnbelt treibt vor der 
Küste Eis. - Norwegische Küste: Auf dem 
Fahrwasser nach Oslo tritt stellenweise Neueis und 
Skagerrak and Kattegat 
Danish Coast: In small harbours and sheltered 
and shallow coastal waters there is 10-30 cm thick 
ice. In the Fehmarn belt there is ice drifting outside 
the coast. - Norwegian Coast: On the Fairway to 
Oslo ice new ice and shuga occurs in places. In the
