Neueis vor. Mälarsee: Mit 10-30 cm dickem Festeis 
bedeckt. Vänernsee: In den nördlichen Schären, 
Vänersborgsviken und Kinneviken 10-35 cm dickes 
Festeis. In den Schären von Luro 5-20cm dickes 
Eis. Neueis im südlichen teil von Varmlandsjon und 
n Dalbosjon. - Lettische Küste: Im Hafen Ventspils 
jegt lockeres Pfannkucheneis, im Fahrwasser nach 
_iepaja liegt dichtes Eis und der Hafen von Liepaja 
st mit kompakten Eis bedeckt. Weiter südlich treibt 
m Fahrwasser lockeres Eis. Entlang der gesamten 
«üste liegt ei etwa 30km breiter Streifen mit Eis und 
Eisbildung.

Covered with 10-30 cm thick fast ice. Lake 
Vänern: In the inner northern archipelagos and in 
Vänersborgsviken there is 10-35 cm thick fast ice. 
In the archipelago of Luro there is 5-20cm thick ice. 
New ice is found in the southern part of 
Varmlandsjon and in the Dalbosjon. - Latvian 
Coast: In the port of Ventspils open pancake ice. 
Close ice is drifting in the fairway to Liepaja and the 
port of Liepaja is covered with compact ice. In the 
fairway to the south there is open ice. Along the 
whole coast there is an about 30km wide belt with 
ice and ice formation. 
Gulf of Riga 
At sea close thin ice and new ice is drifting up to 
the latitude of Mersrags. 
Estonian Coast: At sea, north of 58 °N, there is 
very close 5-15 cm thick ice, farther south close ice 
and new ice and in the Irben Strait there is new ice. 
'n Moonsund there is 20-35 cm thick fast ice, along 
'he southern coast of Saaremaa there is 1-4 nm 
wide fast ice, 5-15cm thick. In the Pärnu Bay there 
is 40-50 cm thick fast ice. - Latvian Coast: In the 
port of Riga there is very open ice. On the fairway 
Riga —- Irben Strait there is very close, 5-15cm thick 
ice. In the Irben Strait there is compact ice and 
farther out in the fairway to Ventspils there is close 
ice. 
Rigaischer Meerbusen 
Auf See treibt im Südteil bis zur Breite von Mersrags 
treibt dichtes dünnes Eis und Neueis. 
Estnische Küste: Auf See tritt nördlich der Breite 
38 °N sehr dichtes 5-15 cm dickes Eis auf, südlich 
davon dichtes Eis und Neueis und in der Irbenstraße 
treibt Neueis. Der Moonsund ist mit 20-35 cm 
dickem Festeis bedeckt. Entlang der Südküste von 
Saaremaa liegt 5-15cm dickes Festeis, 1-4sm breit 
In der Pärnubucht liegt 40-50 cm dickes Festeis. - 
Lettische Küste: Im Hafen von Riga liegt sehr 
ockeres Eis. Im Fahrwasser Riga — Irbenstraße 
treibt sehr dichtes, 5-15cm dickes Eis. In der Irben- 
straße liegt kompaktes Eis und weiter im 
Fahrwasser nach Ventspils kommt dichtes Eis vor. 
Finnischer Meerbusen 
Estnische Küste: In den Buchten 10-15 cm dickes 
-esteis, außerhalb davon liegt in der Kundabucht 
sehr dichtes Eis, in der Muugabucht sehr lockeres 
Eis und in der Tallinbucht Nilas. Zwischen Kap 
Pedassaar und Toila liegt eine mit Neueis bedeckte 
Rinne. - Finnische Küste: In den inneren Schären 
jegt Festeis, im Westen 10-25 cm, im Osten 15-30 
cm dick. Anschließend kommt bis zu der Linie 
delsinki-Leuchtturm — Gogland — Vigrund sehr 
dichtes 10-25 cm dickes Eis vor. Weiter S-lich tritt 
dünnes ebenes Eis und Neueis auf. - Russische 
Küste: In den Häfen von St. Petersburg liegt 
Festeis. Weiter westwärts im Fahrwasser bis Kotlin 
20-35 cm dickes Festeis, weiter bis Tolbuchin 15- 
30cm dickes Festeis, dann bis Seskar zusammen- 
1ängendes 20-30 cm dickes Eis, anschließend bis 
RodSer zusammenhängendes 15-25 cm dickes Eis. 
Weiter westwärts kommt bis zur Länge von Pakri 
dichtes bis sehr dichtes, 5-15cm dickes Eis vor. - 
Die innere Vyborgbucht ist mit 30-45 cm dickem 
Festeis bedeckt, außerhalb davon liegt zusammen- 
ı1ängendes 15-25 cm dickes Eis. - Im Berkezund 20- 
30 cm dickes Festeis und in der Einfahrt zusammen- 
1ängendes 15-30 cm dickes Treibeis. - An den 
«üsten der Copora- und Luga Bucht liegt 15-25 cm 
dickes Festeis, in den Einfahrten zusammen- 
1ängendes und kompaktes 15-25 cm dickes Eis, bei 
der Copora Bucht auch sehr dichtes, 15-25cm 
dickes Eis. 
Gulf of Finland 
Estonian Coast: There is 10-15cm thick fast ice in 
the bays, outside the fast ice there is very close ice 
in the Kunda bay, very open ice in the Muuga bay 
and Nilas in the Tallin bay. Between Cape 
Dedassaar and Toila there is a lead, which is 
covered by new ice. - Finnish Coast: In the inner 
archipelagos there is fast ice, 10-25 cm thick in the 
west and 15-30 cm thick in the east. Off the fast ice 
there is very close 10-25 cm thick ice to the line 
Helsinki lighthouse - Gogland — Vigrund. Farther

Luga and Copora Bay there is 15-25 cm thick fast 
ice, in the entrances there is 15-25 cm thick 
consolidated and compact ice, at the entrance to 
Corpora Bay also very close, 15-25cm thick ice.
