Finnischer Meerbusen 
Estnische Küste: In der Narva-, Kunda- und 
Muugabucht 10-15 cm dickes Festeis und dichtes 
10-20 cm dickes Treibeis. In der Tallinnbucht 
Festeis und Neueis. - Finnische Küste: In den 
nneren Schären liegt Festeis, im Westen 5-25 cm, 
m Osten 15-25 cm dick. Anschließend kommt bis zu 
der Linie Porkkala-Leuchtturm — Gogland — Vigrund 
sehr dichtes 5-20 cm dickes Eis vor. Weiter S-lich 
Dis zur Linie Bengtskär — Naissaar tritt Neueis auf. 
S5aimaasee: Im Nordteil liegt 20-35 cm dickes, im 
nittleren und südlichen Teil sowie im Kanal 15- 
25 cm dickes Eis. - Russische Küste: In den Häfen 
von St. Petersburg liegt Festeis. Weiter westwärts 
m Fahrwasser bis Kotlin 20-35 cm dickes Festeis, 
dann bis Seskar überwiegend zusammenhängendes 
20-30 cm dickes Eis, anschließend bis Gogland 
zusammenhängendes 15-25 cm dickes Eis. Weiter 
westwärts kommt bis zur Linie Pakri — Bengtskär 
dichtes dünnes Treibeis und Neueis vor. - Die innere 
Vyborgbucht ist mit 30-45 cm dickem Festeis 
bedeckt, außerhalb davon liegt 
zusammenhängendes 15-25 cm dickes Eis. - Im 
3Zerkezund 20-30 cm dickes Festeis und in der 
Einfahrt zusammenhängendes 15-30 cm dickes 
Treibeis. - An den Küsten der Copora- und Luga 
Zucht liegt 15-25 cm dickes Festeis, in der 
Einfahrten zusammenhängendes und kompaktes 
15-25 cm dickes Eis. 
Schärenmeer 
In den inneren Schären 10-25 cm dickes Festeis 
Ind dünnes ebenes Eis, anschließend in den 
äußeren Schären dünnes ebenes Eis. 
Bottensee 
Finnische Küste: In den inneren Schären 15-30 cm 
dickes Festeis, weiter außerhalb kommt auf 10-15 
sm Neueis und örtlich dichtes bis sehr dichtes 5-10 
cm dickes Eis vor. - Schwedische Küste: In den 
Schären liegt 10-30 cm dickes Festeis. In der 
Sävlebucht dichtes bis lockeres dünnes Eis. Der 
Angermanälv ist mit 20-30 cm dickem Festeis 
bedeckt. 
Norra Kvarken 
Finnische Küste: In den inneren Schären liegt 
zwischen Vaasa und Ensten 15-35 cm dickes 
Festeis, außerhalb davon kommt bis Nordvalen 
\eueis vor. - Schwedische Küste: W-lich von 
Aolmöarna 10-30 cm dickes Festeis. E-lich von 
Aolmöarna sehr dichtes, teilweise 
iJbereinandergeschobenes 10-20 cm dickes Eis. 
Außerhalb Holmsund kommt festgestampftes 
Trümmereis vor. Von Nordvalen bis 4 sm NE-lich 
von Sydostbrotten dichtes 5-15 cm dickes Eis.

ice. 
Gulf of Finland 
Estonian Coast: In the Narva, Kunda and Muuga 
Bays there is 10-15 cm thick fast ice and close 10- 
20 cm thick drift ice. In the Tallinn Bay fast ice and 
new ice occurs. - Finnish Coast: In the inner 
archipelagos there is fast ice, 5-25 cm thick in the 
west and 15-25 cm thick in the east. Off the fast ice 
there is very close 5-20 cm thick ice to the line 
Dorkkala lighthouse - Gogland — Vigrund. Farther 
aut up to the line Bengtskär — Naissaar there is 
new ice. Lake Saimaa: In the northern part there is 
20-35 cm, in the middle and southern part as well 
as in Canal 15-25 cm thick ice. - Russian Coast: 
n the harbours of St. Petersburg there is fast ice. 
-arther westwards on the fairway 20-35 cm thick fast 
ice occurs to Kotlin, followed by mostly consolidated 
20-30 cm thick ice up to Seskar and consolidated 15- 
25 cm thick ice up to Gogland. Farther westwards 
here is close thin drift ice and new ice up to the line 
Dakri — Bengtskär. - The inner Vyborg Bay is covered 
with 30-45 cm thick fast ice. Farther out there is 
consolidated 15-25 cm thick ice. - In Berkezund 
‘here is 20-30 cm thick fast ice, in the entrance 
‘here is consolidated 15-30 cm thick drift ice. - 
Along the coasts of the Luga and Copora Bay there 
is 15-25 cm thick fast ice, in the entrances there is 
15-25 cm thick consolidated and compact ice 
Archipelago Sea 
In the inner archipelagos there is 10-25 cm thick 
fast ice and thin level ice. In the outer skerries 
there is thin level ice. 
Sea of Bothnia 
Finnish Coast: In the inner archipelagos there is 
'5-30 cm thick fast ice, farther out there is for 10- 
I5 nm new ice with close to very close 5-10 cm 
:hick ice in places. - Swedish Coast: In the 
archipelagos there is 10-30 cm thick fast ice. In the 
Gävle Bight there is close to open thin ice. The 
Ängermanälv is covered with 20-30 thick fast ice. 
Norra Kvarken 
Finnish Coast: In the inner archipelago there is 
15-35 cm thick fast ice between Vaasa and Ensten. 
-arther out there is up to Nordvalen new ice. - 
Swedish Coast: West of Holmöarna 10-30 cm 
‘hick fast ice. .East of Holmöarna there is very 
olose, partly rafted 10-20 cm thick ice. Off 
Holmsund there is a brash ice barrier. From 
Nordvalen to 4 nm northeast of Sydostbrotten there 
is close 5-15 cm thick ice.
