Die Eisbildung in den Küstenbereichen des nördlichen 
Dstseeraumes dauert an.

Die ersten Schifffahrtsbeschränkungen für die 
finnischen Häfen Tornio, Kemi und Oulu sowie für 
Saimaasee und Saimaakanal treten mit Wirkung 
vom 21. Dezember, für die schwedischen Häfen 
Karlsborg, Luleäa, Haraholmen vom 23. Dezember in 
Kraft. 
Südliche Ostsee 
Deutsche Küste: In einigen geschützt liegenden 
Jnd flachen Küstengewässern kommt Neueis und 
Eisbildung vor. - Litauische Küste: Im Hafen 
Klaipeda lockere Eisbreiklümpchen treiben langsam 
1ordwestwärts, in der Zufahrt kommt offenes 
Wasser vor. 
Southern Baltic 
German Coast: In sheltered and shallow coastal 
waters new ice and ice formation occurs, in places. 
Lithuanian coast: In the harbour of Klaipeda 
open shuga is slowly drifting northwestwards, in the 
entrance open water occurs. 
Rigaischer Meerbusen 
Estnische Küste: In der Pärnubucht liegt ein etwa 7 
<m breiter Gürtel aus zusammengeschobenem ca. 7 
2m dicken Eis. Im Moonsund kommt Neueis vor. - 
Lettische Küste: Im Hafen Riga, entlang der 
Südküste und in der Irbenstraße tritt örtlich Neueis 
auf. Alle Fahrwasser sind noch eisfrei. 
Finnischer Meerbusen 
Estnische Küste: In der Narva-, Kunda und 
Muugabucht tritt Neueis auf. - Finnische Küste: In 
den inneren Schären östlich von Hanko sowie 
außerhalb Kotka und Hamina kommt dünnes 
ebenes Eis, Neueis und Eisbildung vor. Saimaasee: 
Im Nordteil und im Kanal kommt Neueis und 
Gulf of Riga 
Estonian Coast: In the Pärnu Bay there is an 
about 7 km wide belt of compact approximately 7 
cm thick ice. In Moonsund new ice occurs. - 
Latvian Coast: In the harbour of Riga, along the 
southern coast and in the Irben Strait new ice 
occurs, in places. The fairways are still ice-free. 
Gulf of Finland 
Estonian Coast: In the Narva, Kunda and Muuga 
Bights there is new ice. - Finnish Coast: In the 
nner archipelagos east from Hanko as well as off 
Kotka and Hamina there is thin level ice, new ice 
and ice formation. Lake Saimaa: In the northern 
part and in Canal there is new ice and ice
