Information of the Icebreaker Services 
Estonia 
Icebreaker: EVA-316 is assisting to Pärnu Bay, no service for tugs and barges. TARMO assists in the Gulf of 
Finland. 
Finland 
The Saimaa Canal will be closed for traffic on Sunday, the 24” January. 
Icebreaker: KONTIO and OTSO assist in the northern Bay of Bothnia and URHO in the central Bay of 
3Zothnia. FENNICA assists in the southern Bay of Bothnia. VOIMA assists in the eastern Gulf of Finland. 
-ETTO assists in the Saimaa Canal and in the southern Lake Saimaa. PROTECTOR assists in the central 
and the southern Lake Saimaa. 
Germany 
Southern Peenestrom, river Peene and Kleines Haff are closed for navigation. Navigation in the northern and 
eastern approaches to Stralsund is possible only during the daytime. 
Icebreaker: ARKONA and RANZOW are assisting approaches to Stralsund and in the Greifswalder Bodden. 
ın the port of Hamburg the ice is being broken and ships are assisted if necessary. 
Norway 
In the area of Drammensfjorden navigation is possible with icebreaker assistance. Navigation in Langärsund is 
'jemporarily closed. In the area of Tromoysund navigation is possible with icebreaker assistance. 
Russia 
Tow boat-barges are not assisted to St. Petersburg, Vyborg, Vysotsk and Ust-Luga. 
Icebreaker: Icebreakers IVAN KRUZENSTERN, KARU, KAPITAN ZARUBIN and KAPITAN SOROKIN assist 
ow-powered vessels in the port of St. Petersburg. In the ports Vyborg and Vysotsk low-powered vessels are 
assisted by icebreakers KAPITAN IZMAILOW and TOR. ERMAK is working in the port of Primorsk and 
MUDJUG in the port Ust Luga.
