Tonsberg kommt 5-15 cm dickes Eis, im Vestfjorden 
‘st das Festeis 30-50 cm dick. In den Bereichen 
Sandefjord und Larvik offenes Wasser. Im Bereich 
Porsgrunn sehr lockeres bis lockeres Neueis. Im 
Bereich Kragero überwiegend 15-30 cm dickes 
Festeis. Im Bereich Arendal sehr lockeres Eis und 
dünnes Festeis, im Tromoysund ist das Festeis aber 
15-30 cm dick. Bei Lillesand offenes Wasser. - 
Schwedische Küste: In den Schären zwischen 
Göteborg und Strömstad dünnes Festeis und 
Neueis. Auf See kommt nördlich und östlich der 
Linie Nidingen —- Skagen — Strömstad und außerhalb 
der Küste zwischen Varberg und Halmstad Neueis 
und Pfannkucheneis, etwa 5 cm dick. 
Westliche und Südliche Ostsee 
Deutsche Küste: Die innere Schlei ist mit 10-15 cm 
dickem Eis bedeckt. In den Häfen von Heiligenhafen 
und Lübeck liegt Neueis, in Wismar und Rostock 
liegt Örtlich dünnes Eis. Die Boddengewässer 
südlich von Darß und Zingst sind mit 5-10 cm 
dickem Eis bedeckt, der Zingster Strom ist eisfrei. In 
den inneren Gewässern nördlich von Stralsund liegt 
kompaktes 10-20 cm dickes Eis und Festeis. Im 
Fahrwasser von Stralsund bis Palmer Ort kommt 10- 
20 cm dickes Festeis vor, Fahrrinne ist gebrochen. 
im Greifswalder Bodden treibt Neueis; an den 
Küsten liegt kompaktes bis zu 20 cm dickes Eis, 
welches stellenweise aufgepresst oder zusammen- 
geschoben ist. In den östlichen Außenbereichen des 
Greifswalder Boddens Neueis und Eisbildung. Der 
südliche Peenestrom, die inneren Boddengewässer 
nd das Kleine Haff sind mit 10-16 cm dickem 
Festeis bedeckt. - Litauische Küste: Im Hafen von 
«laipeda dichter Eisbrei und dunkler Nilas, in der 
Yafeneinfahrt sehr lockeres Neueis. In den 
Fahrwassern kommt offenes Wasser vor. Kurisches 
Yaff ist mit 20-40 cm dickem Festeis bedeckt. - 
Polnische Küste: Im Stettiner Haff liegt kompaktes 
10-15 cm dickes Eis, im Fahrwasser Szczecin — 
Swinoujscie kommt sehr dichtes 15 cm dickes 
Trümmereis vor. Im Hafen Szczecin dichtes 10-15 
cm dickes Eis, im Hafen Swinoujscie lockeres 5- 
10 cm dickes Eis. In den Häfen Gdansk und Gdynia 
kommt Neukeis vor.

places. The Bodden waters south of Darß and 
Zingst are covered with 5-10 cm thick ice, the 
Zingster Strom is ice free. In the inner waters north 
of Stralsund there is compact 10-20 cm thick ice 
and fast ice. In the fairway from Stralsund to 
Palmer Ort there is 10-20 cm thick fast ice with a 
broken lead. In the Greifswalder Bodden new ice is 
drifting; near the coasts there is compact up to 20 
cm thick ice, which is rafted and ridged in places. In 
the eastern outer areas of the Greifswalder Bodden 
there is new ice and ice formation. The 
Peenestrom south of Wolgast, the inner Bodden 
waters and the Kleines Haff are covered with 10-16 
cm thick fast ice. - Lithuanian Coast: In the 
harbour of Klaipeda there is close shuga and dark 
nilas, in the entrance there is very open new ice, on 
ihe fairways there is open water. The Courland 
Lagoon is covered with 20-40 cm thick fast ice. - 
Polish Coast: In Szczecin Lagoon there is 
compact 10-15 cm thick ice, on the fairway 
Szczecin — Swinoujscie there is very close, 15 cm 
thick broken ice. In the port of Szczecin there is 
close 10-15 cm thick ice, in the port of Swinoujscie 
there is 5-10 cm thick open ice. In the ports of 
Gdansk and Gdynia there is new ice. 
Central and Northern Baltic 
Swedish coast: In the Stockholm archipelago 
‘here is thin fast ice in the northern and middle 
parts and new ice in the southern part. Farther 
southwards to the Kalmarsund there is in the 
archipelagos 5-10 cm thick level ice or new ice. - 
Lake Mälaren: Covered with 10-30 cm thick fast 
ice. Lake Vänern: In the inner northern 
archipelagos and in Vänersborgsviken there is 10- 
30 cm thick fast ice. There is frozen shuga off the 
entrance to Vänersborgsviken. New ice formation 
off the coast. - Latvian Coast: There is open thin 
ice in the port of Ventspils and very open ice in the 
port of Liepala. 
Mittlere und Nördliche Ostsee 
Schwedische Küste: In den Stockholmer Schären 
liegt im N-lichen und mittleren Teil dünnes Festeis 
Jnd im S-lichen Teil Neueis. Weiter südlich bis 
Kalmarsund kommt in den Schären 5-10 cm dickes 
sbenes Eis oder Neueis vor. Mälarsee: Mit 10-30 
cm dickem Festeis bedeckt. Vänernsee: In den 
'nneren nördlichen Schären und in 
Vänersborgsviken 10-30 cm dickes Festeis. Vor 
Vänersborgsviken liegt gefrorener Eisbrei. 
Neueisbildung entlang der Küste. - Lettische 
Küste: Im Hafen von Ventspils lockeres dünnes Eis 
und im Hafen von Liepaja sehr lockeres Eis.
