Schifffahrt im Langärsund ist vorübergehend 
eingestellt. Im Bereich Arendal kommt im Galtesund 
Neueis, im Tromgysund 15-30 cm dickes Eis vor. - 
Schwedische Küste: In den Schären zwischen 
Göteborg und Strömstad kommt dünnes Festeis und 
Neueis vor. 
Westliche und Südliche Ostsee 
Deutsche Küste: Die innere Schlei ist mit 8-10 cm 
dickem Eis bedeckt. In den Häfen von Heiligen- 
hafen, Neustadt, Wismar und Rostock sowie in 
anderen flachen und geschützten inneren Gebieten 
kommt dünnes Eis oder Neueis vor. Die Bodden- 
gewässer südlich von Darß und Zingst sind mit 8-10 
cm dickem Eis bedeckt. Im Fahrwasser von Barhöft 
bis Stralsund liegt 5-15 cm dickes Festeis, weiter bis 
Osttief kommt sehr dichtes Neueis vor. In den 
Gewässern zwischen Hiddensee und Rügen 10-15 
cm dickes Eis; die Fähren fahren in einer 
aufgebrochenen Rinne. Im Greifswalder Bodden 
kommt bis zu 14 cm dickes Festeis in der 
Dänischen Wieck, bis zu 10 cm dickes sehr dichtes 
Eis an der Nord- und Westküsten, sonst sehr dichtes 
dünnes Eis oder Neueis vor. Auf dem nördlichen 
Peenestrom Neueis und Neueisbildung. Der 
südliche Peenestrom, die inneren Boddengewässer 
Jnd das Kleinen Haff sind mit 5-15 cm dickem Eis 
bedeckt. - Litauische Küste: Im Hafen von 
Klaipeda kommt sehr lockerer Eisbrei vor, sonst 
eisfrei. Im Kurischen Haff liegt 15-20 cm dickes 
Festeis. - Polnische Küste: Im Stettiner Haff liegt 
sehr dichtes 10-15 cm dickes Eis, im Fahrwasser 
Szezecin — Swinoujscie kommt dichtes bis zu 10 cm 
dickes, teilweise übereinandergeschobenes 
Trümmereis vor. Im Hafen Szczecin sehr dichtes 5- 
10 cm dickes Eis, im Hafen Swinoujscie sehr 
iockeres ca. 10 cm dickes Eis. Im Hafen Ustka 
kommt lockeres 5-10 cm dickes Eis vor. 
Mittlere und Nördliche Ostsee 
Schwedische Küste: Mälarsee: Mit 15-30 cm 
dickem Festeis bedeckt. Vänernsee: In den inneren 
nördlichen Schären und in Vänersborgsviken 5- 
20 cm dickes Festeis. Bei Mariestad und Lidköping, 
sowie In den Schären bei Lurö kommt Neukeis vor. 
Rigaischer Meerbusen 
Estnische Küste: In der Pärnubucht liegt 25-35 cm 
dickes Festeis. Weiter außerhalb kommt bis zur 
Südspitze von Kihnu sehr dichtes 10-15 cm dickes 
Eis, südlich davon bis zur Breite von AinaZi Neueis 
vor. Moonsund ist mit 15-25 cm dickem Festeis 
bedeckt. Entlang der Südküste von Saaremaa 
erstreckt sich ein 3-6 sm breiter Gürtel mit 5-10 cm 
dickem zusammengeschobenen Eis. - Lettische 
Küste: Im Hafen von Riga und entlang den Küsten 
treiben Eisbruchstücke, alle Fahrwasser sind noch 
eisfrei.

Gothenburg and Strömstad thin fast ice and new 
ice Occurs. 
Western and Southern Baltic 
German Coast: The inner Schlei is covered with 8- 
10 cm thick ice. In the harbours of Heiligenhafen, 
Neustadt, Wismar and Rostock as well as in 
sheltered and shallow inner waters there is thin ice 
or new ice. The Bodden waters south of Darß and 
Zingst are covered with 8-10 cm thick ice. In the 
fairway from Barhöft to Stralsund there is 5-15 cm 
thick fast ice, farther to Osttief there is very close to 
compact new ice. In the area between islands 
Hiddensee and Rügen 10-15 cm thick fast ice 
occurs, ferries navigate in a broken lead. In the 
Greifswalder Bodden there is up to 14 cm thick fast 
ce in the Dänische Wiek, up to 10 cm thick very 
close ice at the northern and western coasts, 
otherwise, very close thin ice or new ice occurs. On 
the northern Peenestrom there is new ice or ice 
formation. The Peenestrom south of Wolgast, the 
inner Bodden waters and the Kleines Haff are 
covered with 5-15cm thick ice. - Lithuanian 
Coast: In the harbour of Klaipeda there is very 
open shuga, else ice-free. In the Courland Lagoon 
there is 15-20 cm thick fast ice. - Polish Coast: In 
Szczecin Lagoon there is very close 10-15 cm thick 
ice, on the fairway Szczecin — Swinoujscie there is 
slose up to 10 cm thick brash ice, partly rafted. In 
‘he harbour of Szezecin very close 5-10 cm thick 
ice occurs, in the harbour of Swinoujscie very 
open, about 10 cm thick ice. In the harbour of 
Ustka there is open 5-10 cm thick ice. 
Central and Northern Baltic 
Swedish coast: - Lake Mälaren: Covered with 15- 
30 cm thick fast ice. Lake Vänern: In the inner 
northern archipelagoes and in Vänersborgsviken 
here is 5-20 cm thick fast ice. There is new ice 
near Mariestad and Lidköping, as well as in the 
Lurö archipelago. 
Gulf of Riga 
Estonian Coast: In the Pärnu Bay there is 25- 
35 cm thick fast ice. Farther out up to the longitude 
of the southern point of the island Kihnu there is 
‘0-15 cm thick very close ice, followed by new ice 
up to the latitude of AinaZi. In Moonsund there is 
15-25 cm thick fast ice, along the southern coast of 
Saaremaa a 3-6 nm wide belt of 5-10 cm thick 
compact ice occurs. - Latvian Coast: In the port of 
Riga and along the coasts ice cakes are drifting, 
the fairways are still ice-free.
