Übersicht 
Das erste Eis bildete sich in den nördlichsten 
nneren Schären der Bottenvik Ende November. 
Inzwischen hat sich die Vereisung der 
Küstengewässer im nördlichen Bottnischen 
Meerbusen fortgesetzt, aber die Eisbedeckung 
veschränkt sich auf die nördlichen Schären und 
nneren Bereiche der kleineren Buchten weiter südlich. 
Auch im östlichen Finnischen Meerbusen begann 
während des vergangenen Wochenendes Eisbildung. 
Rigaischer Meerbusen 
Estnische Küste: In der Pärnu Bucht und im 
Moonsund kommt Neueis und Eisbildung vor. 
Finnischer Meerbusen 
Russische Küste: Auf Newa treiben sehr lockere 
Eisbreiklümpchen. Die Häfen von St. Petersburg 
sind eisfrei. Weiter westwärts kommt im Fahrwasser 
als zur Länge der Insel Kotlin dunkler Nilas und 
Eisbrei vor. - Die innere Vyborgbucht ist mit dunklem 
Nilas und Neueis bedeckt. 
Bottensee 
Schwedische Küste: Auf dem Ängermanälv kommt 
nördlich der Sandöbrücke dünnes ebenes Eis, 
südlich davon lockeres Neueis vor. 
Norra Kvarken 
Finnische Küste: In den inneren Schären kommt 
Neueis vor. - Schwedische Küste: In den inneren 
Buchten und kleineren Häfen tritt örtlich Neueis auf.

Overview 
The first ice formed in the northernmost inner 
archipelagos of the Bay of Bothnia in the end of 
November. In the meantime, the ice formation in 
the coastal waters of the northern Gulf of Bothnia 
nas further continued. But the ice cover is limited to 
the inner areas of the northern archipelagos and 
the small bays farther southwards. In the Gulf of 
Finland ice formation has started during the last 
week-end, too. 
Gulf of Riga 
Estonian Coast: In Parnu Bay and in Moonsund 
there is new ice and ice formation. 
Gulf of Finland 
Russian Coast: On Newa very open shuga is 
drifting. The harbours of St. Petersburg are ice-free. 
Farther westwards there is on the fairway up to the 
ongitude of island Kotlin dark nilas and shuga. - The 
nner Vyborg Bay is covered with dark nilas and new 
ce. 
Sea of Bothnia 
Swedish Coast: On the Ängermanälv there is 
north of the Sandö Bridge thin level ice, south of it 
open new ice. 
Norra Kvarken 
Finnish Coast: In the inner archipelago there is 
ı1ew ice. - Swedish Coast: In the inner bays and 
small harbours there is new ice, in places.
