Übersicht 
An den Küsten der nördlichen Bottenvik und im 
östlichen Finnischen Meerbusen dauert die 
Eisbildung an. 
In den inneren Schären der Bottenvik liegt zwischen 
Piteä und Oulu 3-8 cm dickes ebenes Eis, außerhalb 
davon kommt bis zu den äußeren Inseln Neueis vor. 
Im östlichen Finnischen Meerbusen tritt von St. 
Petersburg bis zur Länge von Tolbuchin und in der 
inneren Vyborgbucht dünnes kompaktes Eis und 
Neueis auf. 
Mittlere und Nördliche Ostsee 
Schwedische Küste: - Mälarsee: Im westlichsten 
Teil liegt dünnes Festeis. 
Finnischer Meerbusen 
Russische Küste: In den Häfen von St. Petersburg 
und im Fahrwasser bis zur Westspitze von Koltlin 
kommt kompaktes 5-10 cm dickes, teilweise 
übereinandergeschobenes Eis vor. Weiter westwärts 
bis zur Länge vom Leuchtturm Tolbuchin treten 
dunkler nilas und Eisbreiklümpchen auf. - Die 
innerste Vyborgbucht ist mit kompaktem 5-10 cm 
dicken Eis bedeckt. 
Bottensee 
Schwedische Küste: Auf dem Ängermanälv kommt 
nördlich der Sandöbrücke sehr dichtes Neueis vor. 
Bottenvik 
In den nördlichen Schären kommt zwischen Piteä 
und Oulu dünnes ebenes Eis, weiter seewärts bis zu 
den äußeren Inseln Neueis vor.

St. Petersburg to the longitude of Tolbuchin and in 
the inner Vyborg Bay thin compact ice and new ice. 
Central and Northern Baltic 
Swedish coast: - Lake Mälaren: The westernmost 
part is covered with thin fast ice. 
Gulf of Finland 
Russian Coast: In the harbours of St. Petersburg 
and on the fairway up to the western point of Kotlin 
there is compact 5-10 cm thick ice, partly rafted. 
Farther westwards to the longitude of the lighthouse 
Tolbuchin there are dark nilas and shuga. - In the top 
of Vyborg Bay compact 5-10 cm thick ice occurs. 
Sea of Bothnia 
Swedish Coast: On the Ängermanälv north of the 
Sand6ö Bridge there is very close new ice. 
Bay of Bothnia 
In the northern archipelago between Piteä and Oulu 
there is thin level ice, farther out to the outer islands 
new ice occurs.
