Fahrwasser Szczecin — Swinoujscie kommt etwa 10 
cm dickes dichtes Eis, das örtlich 
übereinandergeschoben und bis zu 30 cm dick ist, 
vor. Im Hafen Szezeecin tritt lockeres 5-10 cm dickes 
Eis auf.

Mittlere und Nördliche Ostsee 
Schwedische Küste: In einigen geschützten 
Buchten und Schären kommt dünnes ebenes Eis 
oder Neueis vor. Mälarsee: Im westlichen und 
zentralen Teil liegt 10-25 cm dickes Festeis. Weiter 
östlich kommt in den Buchten dünnes ebenes Eis 
vor. Bjorkfjärden ist eisfrei. - Russische Küste: In 
der Zufahrt nach Kaliningrad liegt 10-15 cm dickes 
Festeis. 
Central and Northern Baltic 
Swedish coast: In some sheltered bays and 
archipelagos there is thin level ice or new ice. Lake 
Mälaren: In the western and central part there is 
10-25 cm thick fast ice. Farther eastwards there is 
thin level ice in the sheltered bays. Bjorkfjärden is 
ice-free. - Russian Coast: In the entrance to 
Kaliningrad there is 10-15 cm thick fast ice. 
Rigaischer Meerbusen 
Estnische Küste: In der Pärnu Bucht 12-15 cm 
dickes Festeis mit einigen offenen Stellen, 
außerhalb davon treibt lockeres bis dichtes Eis. Im 
Moonsund kommt in der östlichen Küstenzone 5-15 
cm dickes Festeis, sonst lockeres Treibeis und 
offenes Wasser vor. - Lettische Küste: Eisfrel. 
Gulf of Riga 
Estonian Coast: In the Pärnu Bay there is 12-15 
cm thick fast ice with some open areas. Farther out 
there is open to close drift ice. In the eastern 
coastal zone of the Moonsund there is 5-15 cm 
thick fast ice, else open thin drift ice or open water 
occurs. - Latvian Coast: Ice-free. 
Gulf of Finland 
Estonian Coast: In the Bay of Kunda there is new 
ice close to the coast. - Finnish Coast: In the inner 
archipelago there is thin ice. - Russian Coast: In 
the harbours of St. Petersburg there is open to close 
15-25 cm thick ice. Farther westwards on the fairway 
the ice thickness is 15-30 cm: there is open to close 
drift ice to the longitude of Petrodvorec, very close 
drift ice farther out to the western point of Kotlin and 
close drift ice up to the longitude of lighthouse 
Tolbuchin. Farther off there is 10-20 cm thick open to 
close ice up to the longitude of lighthouse 
Sepelevskij. Farther westwards very open ice is 
drifting up to the longitude of island Seskar. - The 
Vyborg Bay is covered with 15-30 cm thick fast ice, 
farther out open water occurs. In the Berkezund 
there is very open ice. 
Finnischer Meerbusen 
Estnische Küste: In der Kundabucht kommt dicht 
an der Küste Neueis vor. - Finnische Küste: In den 
ınneren Schären liegt dünnes Eis. - Russische 
Küste: In den Häfen von St. Petersburg lockeres bis 
dichtes 15-25 cm dickes Eis. Weiter westwärts 
kommt im Fahrwasser 15-30 cm dickes Eis vor: bis 
zur Länge von Petrodvorec lockeres bis dichtes 
Treibeis, weiter bis zur Westspitze von Kotlin sehr 
dichtes Treibeis und dann bis zur Länge des 
_euchtturms Tolbuchin dichtes Eis. Anschließend 
Iritt bis zur Länge des Leuchtturms Sepelevskij 
dichtes bis lockeres 10-20 cm dickes Eis auf. Weiter 
westwärts treibt bis zur Lange der Insel Seskar sehr 
ıockeres Eis. - Die Vyborgbucht ist mit 15-30 cm 
dickem Festeis bedeckt, außerhalb davon offenes 
Wasser. Im Berkezund kommt sehr lockeres dünnes 
Eis vor. 
Älandsee 
In einigen geschützten Buchten und Schären an der 
schwedischen Küste liegt dünnes ebenes Eis. 
Sea of Äland 
In some sheltered bays and archipelagos along the 
Swedish coast there is thin level ice. 
Schärenmeer 
In den Schären kommt örtlich Neueis vor. 
Archipelago Sea

Sea of Bothnia
