icebreaker: EVA-316 is assisting to Pärnu "”ay 
Finland 
The Saimaa Canal will be closed for traffic on Sunday, the 18" January. 
Icebreaker: OTSO and KONTIO are assisting in the northern Bay of Bothnia. PROTECTOR, METEOR and 
_ETTO are assisting on the Lake Saimaa. 
Germany 
icebreaker: JOHANNES DALMANN, HEINRICH HUEBBE, HUGO 
STOCKHAUSEN work in the harbour of Hamburg 
Norwegian 
Navigation in Langärsund (Kragerg) is temporarily closed. 
Russia 
Vessels without ice class are not assisted to ports Vyborg and Vysotsk from 5 January. 
Icebreaker: Low-powered vessels to St. Petersburg can be assisted at need by port icebreakers KAPITAN 
ZARUBIN, SEMYAN DEZNEV, IVAN KRUZENSTERN and MUDJUG, in the ports Vyborg and Vysotsk by 
cebreaker KAPITAN IZMAILOV. 
Sweden 
Vessels not suitable for winter navigation, river vessels and tugs with barge can not expect governmental 
cebreaker assistance. 
All ships entering harbours in the Gulf of Bothnia shall, when passing Svenska Björn (N 59°33’ E 20° 01’) 
contact the VTS Gävle on VHF channel 84.
