Westliche Ostsee 
Deutsche Küste: Im Flensburger Hafen Neueis, 
Der innere Schlei ist stellenweise mit 5-10cm 
dickem Eis bedeckt. Im Hafen Wismar liegt bis zu 
12cm dickes dichtes Eis, weiter außerhalb kommt 
Neueis vor. Der Stadthafen Rostock und die Unter- 
warnow sind mit bis zu 6cm dickem Eis bedeckt, 
im Überseehafen kommt stellenweise Neueis vor. 
Die Bodden südlich vom Darß und Zingst sind 
teilweise mit 5-10 cm dickem Eis bedeckt. 
Südliche Ostsee 
Deutsche Küste: In den inneren Boddenge- 
wässern und der nördlichen Einfahrt von Stralsund 
tritt dünnes, lockeres bis sehr dichtes Eis sowie 
Neueis auf. Der Stralsunder Hafen ist größtenteils 
aisfrei. In Küstennähe und in geschützten Buchten 
und Hafen des südlichen Greifswalder Bodden 
kommt bis zu 9cm dickes Festeis vor. Auf dem 
Peenestrom kommt nördlich von Wolgast Neueis 
vor und südlich von Wolgast 3-9cm dickes Festeis. 
im Kleinen Haff kommt 5-10 cm dickes Eis vor und 
der Peenefluß ist mit 9cm dickem Eis bedeckt. - 
Polnische Küste: Im Stettiner Haff liegt in den 
Randbereichen sehr dichtes, bis zu 10 cm dickes 
Eis. Im Fahrwasser Szczecin — Swinoujscie liegt 
übereinandergeschobenes bis 15cm dickes Eis. 
Mittlere und Nördliche Ostsee 
Schwedische Küste: - Mälarsee: Zwischen 
Köping und Kvicksund liegt 5-15 cm dickes 
Festeis. Weiter östlich kommt dünnes ebenes Eis 
oder Neueis vor. - Lettische Küste: Die Fahr- 
wasser sind eisfrei. 
Rigaischer Meerbusen 
Estnische Küste: In der Parnu Bucht liegt 5-10 
cm dickes Festeis. Im Moonsund liegt in der 
Küstenzone Festeis und weiter außerhalb dichtes 
Eis. - Lettische Küste: Im Hafen Riga liegt unter 
5cm dickes, dichtes Neueis. Weiter im Fahrwasser 
Richtung Irbenstraße sehr lockeres Neueis. 
Finnischer Meerbusen 
Estnische Küste: In der Narvabucht liegt lockeres 
Eis und in der Kundabucht Neueis. - Finnische 
Küste: In den inneren Schären liegt dünnes Eis, 
außerhalb davon Neueis und Neueisbildung. 
Saimaasee: Der zentrale Bereich ist stellenweise 
offen, ansonsten 5-20 cm dickes Eis, auch im 
Saimaa Kanal. - Russische Küste: In den Häfen 
von St. Petersburg kommt zusammengeschobenes 
15-20 cm dickes Eis vor. Im Fahrwasser weiter 
westwärts liegt bis zur Länge Kronstadts 10-20 cm 
dickes Festeis, dann bis zur Länge von Kap Seraja 
LoSad' 10-15cm dickes, sehr dichtes Eis und von 
dort bis zur Länge von Kap Dubosskij Nilas. - Die 
Western Baltic 
German Coast: New ice in Flenburg harbour. The 
inner Schlei is partly covered with 5-10 cm thick ice. 
Olose, up to 12cm thick ice in the harbour of Wismar, 
further out new ice. Up to 6cm thick ice covers the 
zity port of Rostock and the Unterwarnow, some new 
ice in the main port. The Bodden waters south of 
Darß and Zingst are partly covered with 5-10 cm 
thick fast ice or new ice. 
Southern Baltic 
German Coast: In the inner Bodden waters and in 
the northern entrance to Stralsund there is thin open 
to very close ice and new ice. Stralsund harbour is 
mostly ice free. In the coastal areas and sheltered 
Jays and harbours of the southern Greifswalder 
Bodden up to 9 cm thick fast ice occurs. In the 
Pennestrom north of Wolgast some new ice and to 
the south of Wolgast there is 3-9 cm thick fast ice. In 
the Kleines Haff there is very close, 5-10cm thick ice. 
The Peenefluß has a 9cm thick closed ice cover. - 
Polish Coast: In Stettiner Haff there is very close up 
to 10 cm thick ice in the coastal areas, on the fairway 
Szeczecin —- Swinoujscie rafted ice, up to 15 cm thick, 
Occurs. 
Central and Northern Baltic 
Swedish coast: - Lake Mälaren: In the western part 
between Köping and Kvicksund there is 5-15 cm 
thick fast ice. Farther eastward there is thin level ice 
or new ice. - Latvian Coast: The fairways are ice 
free. 
Gulf of Riga 
Estonian Coast: In Parnu Bay there is 5-10 cm thick 
fast ice. In Moonsund there is fast ice in the coastal 
zone and close ice farther out. - Latvian Coast: In 
the port of Riga there is close, less then 5cm thick 
new ice. Farther off on the fairway to Irben Strait 
there is very open new ice. 
Gulf of Finland 
Estonian Coast: There is open ice in the Bay of 
Narva and new ice in the Bay of Kunda. - Finnish 
Coast: There is thin ice in the inner archipelago and 
new ice as well as new ice formation farther out. 
Lake Saimaa: The central part of Lake Saimaa is 
Dartly open, elsewhere and in the Saimaa Canal there 
s 5-20 cm thick ice. - Russian Coast: In the 
harbours of St. Petersburg there is compact 15-20 cm 
Ihick ice. Farther westwards on the fairway up to the 
longitude of Kronstadt there is 10-20 cm thick fast ice 
and then 10-15cm thick, very close ice to the longitude 
of Cape Seraja LoSad'. From there to the longitude of 
Cape Dubiskij there is nilas. - The Vyborg Bay is
