Übersicht 
Über das Wochenende hat das Eis, besonders in 
Küstennähe, weiter abgenommen. 
Bottenvik 
Die Eisgrenze verläuft ungefähr von Rödkallen nach 
JlIkokalla. Vereinzelt treibende Eisschollen erfordern 
vorsichtiges Navigieren. Finnische Küste: In den 
1ördlichen Schären liegt stellenweise morsches Eis. 
Weiter außerhalb kommt in Küstennähe und östlich 
von 24°E zuerst meist offenes Wasser oder sehr 
ockeres Eis vor, nachher dann bis Eisgrenze sehr 
dichtes bis dichtes 20-50 cm dickes Eis. 
Stellenweise kommen immer wieder grobe Schollen 
Ind aufgepresstes Eis vor. Südlich davon eisfrei. - 
Schwedische Küste: Außerhalb der Küste meist 
offenes Wasser, aber im Gebiet Nordströmsgrund - 
Rödkallen - Farstugrunden treiben einzelne grobe 
Eisschollen, was vorsichtiges Navigieren erfordert. 
Im zentralen Teil liegt 10-50 cm dickes, lockeres bis 
dichtes Eis. Es kommen stellenweise immer wieder 
dickere Schollen und alten Presseisrücken vor, 
besonders von Rödkallen Richtung Nordosten nach 
Repskär und von Sandskär bis östlich Kemi-2. 
Voraussichtliche Eisentwicklung 
in den nächsten Tagen wird, bei weiterhin sonnigem 
Jınd warmen Wetter und schwachen Winde aus 
meist südlichen Richtungen, das Eis weiter ab- 
1ehmen. Die Eisdrift bleibt gering.

Overview 
Over the weekend the ice in the Bay of Bothnia 
specially near to the coast, has decreased further. 
Bay of Bothnia 
The ice edge runs approximately along the line 
Rödkallen — Ulkokalla. Single drifting floes require 
careful navigation. Finnish Coast: In the northern 
archipelagos there is rotten ice in places. Farther 
aut there is first open water or very open ice near 
the coast and east of about 24°E, followed by very 
olose to close, 20-50 cm thick ice up to ice edge. In 
the whole region heavy floes and ridged ice occurs 
in places. Farther south it is ice free. - Swedish 
Coast: Outside the coast mostly open water, but in 
‘he region MNordströmsgrund - Rödkallen - 
-arstugrunden single heavy ice floes are drifting, 
requiring careful navigation. In the central part 
there is open to close, 10-50 cm thick ice. Thicker 
floes and old ridges are present in places, specially 
from Rödkallen eastwards towards Repskär and 
from Sanskär to east of Kemi-2. 
Expected Ice Development 
During the next days the weather will stay warm 
and sunny, with only light winds out of southerly 
directions. Therefore the ice retreat will continue 
and no larger ice drift is expected
