Bay of Bothnia. VOIMA assists in the Gulf of Finland. 
Russia 
Tow boat-barges are not assisted to St. Petersburg, Primorsk and Ust-Luga. 
jcebreaker: Low-powered vessels to St. Petersburg can be assisted at need by port icebreakers SEMYAN 
DEZNEV, KAPITAN ZARUBIN and KAPITAN SOROKIN, in the port Primorsk by icebreaker ERMAK. Low- 
powered vessel in the ports Vyborg and Vysotsk are assisted by icebreakers KAPITAN IZMAILOV, TOR and 
KARU, in the port Ust-Luga by icebreaker MOSKVA. 
5weden 
Vessels not suitable for winter navigation, river vessels and tugs with barge can not expect governmental 
cebreaker assistance. All ships entering harbours in the Gulf of Bothnia shall, when passing Svenska Björn 
{N 59°33’ E 20°01’) contact the VTS Gävle on VHF channel 84. 
Icebreaker: YMER and ATLE assist in the Bay of Bothnia. FREJ assists in the Quark. ALE assists in the 
Quark and in the northern Sea of Bothnia. 
No transit traffic through the Quark west of Holmöarna is allowed
