Das dichte bis sehr dichte Eis liegt auf See östlich 
von Gogland. 
Estnische Küste: In der Narva- und Kundabucht 
ireibt in der Küstennähe sehr lockeres dünnes Eis. - 
Finnische Küste: In den westlichen Schären 10-25 
cm dickes, morsch werdendes Festeis, außerhalb 
davon kommt örtlich sehr lockeres dünnes Eis vor. 
In den östlichen Schären liegt 15-30 cm dickes 
Festeis. Außerhalb davon treibt bis zur Linie 
Kalbädagrund — Gogland sehr lockeres bis lockeres 
10-25 cm dickes Eis. - Russische Küste: In den 
Häfen von St. Petersburg lockeres 20-30 cm dickes 
Eis. Weiter westwärts kommt im Fahrwasser bis zur 
Länge der Ostspitze von Kotlin dichtes bis sehr 
dichtes 30-45 cm dickes Eis vor. Danach folgt sehr 
'ockeres bis lockeres 30-40 cm dickes Eis bis zur 
Länge vom Kap Seraja LoSad' und offenes Wasser 
bis zur Länge von Kap Stirsudden. Anschließend tritt 
dichtes bis sehr dichtes 10-25 cm dickes Eis bis zur 
Länge der Insel Bol'Soj T'uters auf. Außerhalb davon 
kommt bis zur Eisgrenze entlang der Linie Bol'Soj 
T'uters — Leuchtturm Rod$Ser offenes Wasser vor. - 
Vyborgbucht ist mit 30-45 cm dickem Festeis 
bedeckt, außerhalb davon kommt erst bis zur Breite 
6022' N offenes Wasser, dann dichtes bis sehr 
dichtes 15-30 cm dickes Eis vor. - Berkezund ist mit 
15-30 cm dickem Festeis bedeckt, in der Einfahrt 
kommt sehr dichtes 15-30 cm dickes Eis vor. - In der 
Luga und Corpora Bucht liegt an den Küsten 10-25 
cm dickes Festeis, außerhalb davon treibt sehr 
lockeres bis lockeres 10-25 cm dickes Eis. 
Älandsee 
In geschützten Buchten und Schären kommt 
lockeres dünnes Eis vor. 
Schärenmeer 
Zwischen Korra und Lohm kommt morsches dünnes 
Eis vor. 
Bottensee 
Finnische Küste: In den inneren Schären liegt 15- 
40 cm dickes Festeis. - Schwedische Küste: In den 
:nneren Buchten und Häfen liegt bis zu 25 cm, auf 
dem Ängermanälven 30-50 cm dickes Festeis. Auf 
See kommen nördlich der Linie Skagsudde -— 
Storkallegrund wechselweise Bereiche mit lockerem 
Jnd dichtem 5-20 cm dicken Eis und Neueis vor. 
Weiter südwärts bis zur Breite von Högbonden treibt 
stellenweise Neueis. 
Norra Kvarken 
Finnische Küste: Zwischen Vaasa und Ensten liegt 
20-45 cm dickes Festeis. Außerhalb davon kommt 
bis Vaasa-Leuchtturm und südwestlich von Norrskär 
dichtes 5-20 cm dickes Treibeis, sonst Neueis vor. - 
Schwedische Küste: In den Buchten und Häfen 
entlang der Küste und westlich von Holmöarna liegt 
20-40 cm dickes Festeis. Auf See kommt überein- 
andergeschobenes dünnes Eis und Neueis vor.

Gulf of Finland 
The close to very close ice at sea is concentrated 
sast of Gogland. 
Estonian Coast: In the Bays of Narva and Kunda 
very open thin ice is drifting near the coast. - 
Finnish Coast: In the western archipelago there is 
‘0-25 cm thick, rottening fast ice, farther off there is 
very open thin ice in places. In the eastern 
archipelago there is 15-30 cm thick fast ice. Farther 
aut up to the line Kalbädagrund —- Gogland very 
open to open 10-25 cm thick ice is drifting. - 
Russian Coast: In the harbours of St. Petersburg 
there is open 20-30 cm thick ice. Farther westwards 
an the fairway there is up to the longitude of eastern 
point of Kotlin close to very close 30-45 cm thick ice 
following by very open to open 30-40 cm thick ice up 
to the longitude of Cape Seraja LoSad' and by open 
water up to the longitude of Stirsudden. Farther 
westwards there is close to very close 10-25 cm 
thick ice up to the longitude of island Bol'Soj T'uters. 
Farther out open water occurs up to the ice edge 
along the line Bol'Soj T'uters — lighthouse RodSer. - 
The Vyborg Bay is covered with 30-45 cm thick fast 
ice. Farther off there is first to the latitude 60°22' N 
apen water, then close to very close 15-30 cm thick 
ice. - In the Berkezund there is 15-30 cm thick fast 
ice, in the entrance very close 15-30 cm thick ice 
accurs. - In the Luga and Corpora Bays there is 10- 
25 cm thick fast ice along the coasts, farther off very 
open to open 10-25 cm thick ice is drifting. 
Sea of Äland 
In sheltered bays and archipelagos there is open 
thin ice. 
Archipelago Sea 
Between Korra and Lohm there is rotten thin ice. 
Sea of Bothnia 
Finnish Coast: There is 15-40 cm thick fast ice in 
ihe inner archipelago. - Swedish Coast: In the 
ınner bays and harbours there is up to 25 cm, on 
Ihe Angermanälven 30-50 cm thick fast ice. At sea 
there are north of the line Skagsudde -— 
Storkallegrund alternating areas with open and 
slose 5-20 cm thick ice and new ice. Farther 
southwards up to the latitude of Högbonden some 
new ice is drifting. 
Norra Kvarken 
Finnish Coast: Between Vaasa and Ensten there 
is 20-45 cm thick fast ice. Farther off there is to 
VYaasa lighthouse and southwest of Norrskär close 
5-20 cm thick drift ice. Otherwise, new ice occurs. - 
Swedish Coast: In bays and harbours along the 
coast and the west of Holmöarna there is 20-40 cm 
thick fast ice. At sea rafted thin ice and new ice 
OCCurs.
