Rigaischer Meerbusen 
Estnische Küste: An der nördlichen Küste liegt auf 
2-4 sm dichtes und aufgepresstes 5-20 cm dickes 
Treibeis. In der Pärnu Bucht liegt ein schmaler 
Festeissaum, 30-40 cm dick, entlang der Ostküste 
verläuft eine 3-4 km breite Rinne. Außerhalb davon 
kommt bis zur Breite der Insel Kihnu dichtes 10-20 
cm dickes Eis vor. Im Fahrwasser südlich von Kihnu 
offenes Wasser. Im Moonsund liegt in der 
Küstenzone 15-30 cm dickes, teilweise 
aufgebrochenes Festeis, außerhalb davon kommt im 
zentralen Bereich dichtes 10-20 cm dickes Eis, im 
Norden offenes Wasser vor. 
Finnischer Meerbusen 
Das Eis auf See liegt nördlich der Linie Jussarö — 
Kalbädagrund — Leuchtturm Kotka —- Gogland — 9 sm 
1ördlich Bol'Soj T'uters — 7 sm nördlich von Malyj — 
nordöstlich vom Kap Stirsudden. 
Estnische Küste: In der Narvabucht treibt in der 
Küstennähe sehr lockeres 5-10 cm dickes Eis, in der 
Kunda Bucht kommt an der Küste dunkler Nilas vor 
Finnische Küste: In den westlichen Schären 10- 
25 cm dickes Festeis, außerhalb davon kommt 
dichtes dünnes Eis vor. In den östlichen Schären 
liegt 15-30 cm dickes Festeis. Außerhalb davon tritt 
bis zur Eisgrenze dichtes bis sehr dichtes 10-35 cm 
dickes Eis auf. - Russische Küste: In den Häfen 
von St. Petersburg lockeres 20-30 cm dickes Eis. 
Weiter westwärts liegt im Fahrwasser bis zur Länge 
von Kronstadt sehr dichtes 30-45 cm dickes Eis, 
dann sehr lockeres Eis bis zur Länge von Kap 
Seraja LoSad'. Anschließend kommt bis zur Länge 
von Ust-Luga offenes Wasser, dann bis zur 
Eisgrenze sehr dichtes 10-25 cm dickes Eis vor. - 
Die Vyborgbucht ist mit 30-45 cm dickem Festeis 
bedeckt, außerhalb davon liegt sehr dichtes, leicht 
pressendes 15-30 cm dickes Eis. - Im Berkezund 
liegt 15-30 cm dickes Festeis, anschließend kommt 
sehr lockeres Eis vor. - An der Küste der Lugabucht 
liegt 10-25 cm dickes Festeis, außerhalb davon sehr 
dichtes 10-25 cm dickes Eis und dann offenes 
Wasser. In der Corpora Bucht liegt an der Küste 10- 
25 cm dickes Festeis, außerhalb davon eisfrei 
Älandsee 
In geschützten Buchten und Schären kommt 
ıockeres dünnes Eis oder Eisbrei vor 
Schärenmeer 
Zwischen Korra und Lohm liegt dünnes Eis. 
Bottensee 
Finnische Küste: In den inneren Schären 15-40 cm 
dickes Festeis, außerhalb davon kommt Örtlich 
‚ockeres dünnes Eis vor. - Schwedische Küste: In 
den inneren Buchten und Häfen liegt bis zu 25 cm, 
auf dem Ängermanälven 30-50 cm dickes Festeis. 
Gulf of Riga 
Estonian Coast: Along the northern coast there is 
a 2-4 nm wide area with close and ridged 5-20 cm 
thick drift ice. In the Pärnu Bay there is narrow belt 
af 30-40 cm thick fast ice, a 3-4 km wide lead runs 
along the eastern coast. Farther out up to the 
'atitude of island Kihnu there is close 10-20 cm 
thick ice. On the fairway south of Kihnu open water. 
In the coastal zone of the Moonsund there is 15-30 
cm thick, partly broken fast ice, farther off there is 
in the central area close 10-20 cm thick ice, in the 
north there is open water. 
Gulf of Finland 
The ice at sea is concentrated north of the line 
Jussarö — Kalbädagrund — lighthouse Kotka — 
Gogland — 9 nm north of Bol'Soj T'uters - 7 nm 
north of Malyj — northeast of Cape Stirsudden.

slow compressed 15-30 cm thick ice. - In the 
Berkezund there is 15-30 cm thick fast ice, farther off 
very open ice. - Along the coast of the Luga Bay 
there is 10-25 cm thick fast ice, farther out there is 
very close 10-25 cm thick ice followed by open 
water. In the Corpora Bay there is 10-25 cm thick fast 
ice along the coast, farther out ice-free. 
Sea of Äland 
In sheltered bays and archipelagos there is open 
thin ice or shuga. 
Archipelago Sea 
Between Korra and Lohm there is thin ice. 
Sea of Bothnia 
Finnish Coast: There is 15-40 cm thick fast ice in 
the inner archipelago, farther off there is open thin 
ce in places. - Swedish Coast: In the inner bays 
and harbours there is up to 25 cm, on the 
Ängermanälven 30-50 cm thick fast ice. Farther off
