den inneren Buchten und Häfen liegt bis zu 30 cm, 
auf dem Ängermanälven 30-50 cm dickes Festeis. 
Außerhalb davon kommt zwischen Järnäsudde und 
3räm6n auf 1-5 sm dichtes 5-15 cm dickes Treibeis 
oder Eisbrei vor. In der Gävle Bucht treiben um 
Eggegrund Streifen mit Eisbreiklümpchen. 
Norra Kvarken 
Finnische Küste: Zwischen Vaasa und Ensten liegt 
20-45 cm dickes Festeis, außerhalb davon kommt 
bis Vaasa-Leuchtturm Neueis vor. Nördlich von 
Odelgrund kommt sehr dichtes 10-40 cm dickes Eis 
ind Neueis vor - Schwedische Küste: In den 
Buchten und Häfen entlang der Küste liegt bis zu 40 
cm dickes Festeis. Nordöstlich von Nordvalen 
kommt sehr dichtes 20-40 cm dickes Eis vor. 
Zwischen Nordvalen und Sydostbrotten liegt dichtes 
bis sehr dichtes 5-20 cm dickes Eis. Entlang der 
_inie Holmögadd — Väktaren — Lögaren und vom 
3onden südwestwärts erstrecken sich weitere Gürtel 
aus zusammengefrorenem 5-20 cm dicken 
Trümmereis. 
Bottenvik 
Vollkommen eisbedeckt. 
Finnische Küste: Die nördlichen Schären sind bis 
zur Linie Kemi 2 — Oulu 1 mit 40-65 cm, die 
südlichen Schären mit 20-50 cm dickem Festeis be- 
deckt. Außerhalb davon liegt im Norden auf 4-10 sm 
zusammenhängendes 20-45 cm dickes Eis, 
anschließend kommt sehr dichtes, teilweise 
iJbereinandergeschobenes 20-40 cm dickes Eis vor. 
Im Südteil verläuft außerhalb der Festeisgrenze eine 
5-15 sm breite, mit dünnem Eis oder Neueis 
bedeckte Rinne, anschließend liegt sehr dichtes 10- 
40 cm dickes Treibeis. - Schwedische Küste: In 
den nördlichen Schären 30-70 cm, in den südlichen 
Schären bis zu 40 cm dickes Festeis. Auf See liegt 
m Norden sehr dichtes 20-50 cm dickes Eis, in dem 
Presseisrücken vorkommen. Südlich von Bjuröklubb 
tritt sehr dichtes, teilweise aufgepresstes 10-40 cm 
dickes Eis auf, dazwischen kommen nur einzelne 
gröbere Eisschollen vor.

Holmögadd — Väktaren — Lögaren and from 
Bonden southwestwards there are further belts with 
“rozen 5-20 cm thick brash ice. 
Bay of Bothnia 
Totally ice covered. 
Finnish Coast: The northern archipelagos are 
zovered up to the line Kemi 2 — Qulu 1 with 40-65 
cm, the southern archipelagos with 20-50 cm thick 
'ast ice. Farther out, in the northern part, there is 
°or 4-10 nm consolidated 20-45 cm thick ice. 
-arther seawards there is first a 3-8 nm wide lead, 
‘hen very close, partly rafted 20-40 cm thick ice. In 
'he southern part a 5-15 nm wide lead, covered by 
'hin ice or new ice, runs off the fast ice edge. 
-arther out there is very close 10-40 cm thick drift 
ice. - Swedish Coast: The northern archipelago 
are covered with 30-70 cm, the southern 
archipelagos with up to 40 cm thick fast ice. At sea 
‘here is in the North very close 20-50 cm thick ice 
with ridges. Very close, partly ridged 10-40 cm 
thick ice occurs south of Bjuröklubb, only single 
*hicker ice floes occur in between. 
Voraussichtliche Eisentwicklung 
Zwischen hohem Druck über Westrussland und 
jefem Druck westlich von Skandinavien wird in den 
ıächsten drei Tagen mit südlichen Winden mildere 
_uft in den Ostseeraum fließen, keine weitere 
Eiszunahme ist zu erwarten. Die Rinnen außerhalb 
der finnischen Bottenvikküste und die offenen 
3Zereiche im Östlichen Finnischen Meerbusen 
erden sich teilweise schließen. In den nördlichen 
Seegebieten und an den Nordküsten der Bottenvik 
nd des Finnischen Meerbusens ist mit 
Eispressungen zu rechnen. 
Expected Ice Development 
Between high pressure over western Russia and 
jow pressure west of Scandinavia milder air will 
Denetrate with southerly winds over the Baltic Sea 
during the next three days, no further ice formation 
is to be expected. The leads off the Finnish coast in 
he Bay of Bothnia and open areas in the Gulf of 
z-inland will partly close. In the northern parts of the 
sea areas and at the northern coasts of the Bay of 
Bothnia and of the Gulf of Finland ice pressure is to 
be expected
